Hi, i have a quick question, my employer might be liquidated/shut down by the HRMC in a few months for not remitting tax and I am on tier 2 care visa which was issue in Nov 2022 and will expire in Nov 2025, will that affect my stay in the UK. Bear in mind that my employer’s license is still intact.Thank you
If the employer company shuts down, then their licence will be cancelled as soon as the company is shut down, then UKVI will issue you a Tier 2 General visa cancellation notice allowing 60 days to either switch to another category or leave the UK. All timelines and possible options are discussed in the below video: Lost Job - UK Skilled Worker visa(incl. Care Workers) - What are my options? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8dwsxVvLxBk.html
Thank you so much for this information my employer terminated me on the 15th Feb this year indicating that I failed probation after working for 11 months she said she will inform home office about it however with my nursing back ground I had started on the process of registering with the council in view that the 60 days find me done and probably also with a new employer how can I go about this
Very helpful video thanks for sharing, I have a quick question, my current Skilled Worker Visa is valid till Dec 24, and my employer wants to transfer me to the US on a L visa, so after I move let's say in Apr 24, can my dependent stay in UK for a few additional months/Dec end?
very informative, but few questions, 1. If we wont receive the curtailment letter, how can we know that Permission cancellation been issued, are there any sites we can see this? 2. I could able to see right to work still with my previous employer, does that mean HO didn't make the decision? 3. In my case, visa been processed by third party, is there a chance that they will get the mail?
1- there is no such site, however, you can make a UKVI subject access request to check your Home Office records, if a curtailment email/letter is issued, it will usually be stored on your file. You will need a certified copy of your passport to do that, we provide the certification service. 2 - it means either your previous employer has not reported through the SMS that they are no longer sponsoring you or they have reported and it is still in the caseworking queue to be acted upon by UKVI to cancel your visa. 3-the curtailment email may sometimes be sent to the Authorising officer on your previous employer’s Sponsor Licence.
thanks for the useful information! how about the employment status of the dependents in case of redundancy? Do the dependents have the right to work for the period until the letter arrives and for a period of 60 days after the letter arrives? thank you.

is it considered as overstay or does it reset ILR clock if a curtailment was never issued and there is an unemployment gap of 3 months between end date to the new visa application date.
Heya, thanks for this video, really helpful! I had a question about travelling after resignation during the 60 days period. If I have a Schengen visa, is it possible to travel abroad during that period and then re-enter the UK to move out permanently or once I leave the UK I can't enter even if I am in the 60 days legal period?
I need suggestion. My skilled visa has been curtailed in August 2023 and i came back to my home country with my family on September 2023. We have paid heath surcharge for 5 years. I did not get any email from home office and our BRP card valid until 31 December 2024. It has been more than 8 months I am out of UK. Plz suggest me can Enter the Uk at this situation? Or can i get back to my rest health surcharge?

Hello Mr Sawant thanks for the information but I have further queries. Very informative and useful video. I am on tier 2 skilled worker visa. My employer wants to report home office about my termination and discontinutity of work. He is is saying i might have to leave uk within 2 weeks, is it true, how do i get 2 weeks only? Also if my wife switch dependant visa to undergraduate student visa, will me as an dependent can work ?
Good morning sir/Madam, Can you please advise me ,Now I am in UK 3weeks completed, but my company put me in deduntency list as per your advice now 10 days completed, so the company used their management system and may the report to the home office, In this situation can I go to travel into india as a short vacation or can I submit a visa application for bring my spouse hear in UK Please advise me Thank you
It is not advisable to travel, since your employer has reported to Home Office and stopped sponsoring you Further, it is not advisable to apply for your wife’s dependant visa, since it may be refused, if the caseworker finds out that your employer has stopped sponsoring you. Please watch the below video, it explains the problems with travelling while travelling while your employer has stopped sponsoring you. Lost Job - UK Skilled Worker visa(incl. If you have already received the Permission cancellation letter/email, then that is the final notification, there are no more notifications. If you have not received the Permission cancellation letter/email, then your 60 day count starts from the date you receive such letter/email.
