Making granny squares can be addictive lol !!! I love the heart theme for Valentine’s Day or just to cheer up these colder, grey, winter days. For whatever it’s worth, if you want to make your scarf softer and more drapey you can “kill” acrylic yarn by using a steamer. There are videos on RU-vid explaining this easy process. Again, it’s for acrylic yarns and the process is not reversible. I have done this using a blocking pad and pins and a handheld steamer with great results! Anyhow, I’m going to look through my yarn stash for some white, reds, and pinks and make the large granny square you showed to brighten up my front door! Great ideas, as always, thank you!! 😊❤
Thank you! Granny squares are really fun but they kind of hurt after a while! I guess I’ll just stick to a few at a time! I’ve never heard about the steamer trick, I’ll have to look it up! 😁
"Scarves, the gateway to real clothing" 😂 If you could squish Lilli down into her 2-year old self, two of your large squares with sides and straps made of the little squares (too cute, by the way!)could make a Valentine vest for her. But we like her best full size!!
