No single player is the answer. Only way Mavs can even attempt a comeback is if 1.Luka plays good on D, slashes to the paint and make his 3s 2.Kyrie makes his 3s and gets 20+ points 3.Consistent Offensive Rebounds by Lively 4.Roleplayers attempt 3s and make their open 3s 5. Get a lead by the 1st half and 6. If THJr (edit: and Maxi Kleber)doesn't get minutes

@@Ygtrecey This is basically a single elimination series now. J Kidd gave him opportunities and he fumbled them. It's simple if you don't contribute offensively or defensively you have no right to be on the court. TH Jr WAS our 3rd option before the Trade deadline, now he is deadweight. Hope he proves me wrong though for our team's sake.

The Mavs do always seem to play better when they have less days off, when the games are one day apart. The week between the WCF and the finals I think really hurt them.

Starters: Luke, Kyrie, DJJ, PJ, Gafford Luka on the court & Kyrie on the bench the other guard spot has to be Exum. Why? Because Exum can push the pace for Luka. Kyrie on the court & Luka on the bench the other guard spot has to be Green. Because he can run with Kyrie.

Sustainable: Rebounding dominance Points in the paint Defensive presence and rotation Holding Tatum in check Not Sustainable: Outside shooting from our role guys Not allowing a scoring run from Celts We can win this series with KP out if we continue to attack mismatches. Locked on mavs you know me I have been a fan of mavericks for 1 year know because I fell in love with Luka, it is a one sided love but I feel that 3-1 Celtics will win I will be heartbroken but i quests it’s not our time, I think Luka will get back to finals with strong team mates since some are new to environment it takes a awhile. I will never watch basketball nba if not for Luka who I feel in love, I live in San Francisco and my family hates me cause of the team I chose I just told them I will support the one I love, but we have to face the true facts here 1 more win for Celtics it is done and having to win 3 more games is beyond luck and beyond possibility like Luka loving me back with my one sided love, so maybe next year I think Celtic wanted to win this in their home court…. I will always support Luka. And I did one time accidentally played with him on a game and he was one of my team member and he is a caliber gamer….. I love Luka, and he will always be my one sided love in this lifetime I hope in my next life he’d be my husband.

As long as Luka defends and they keep the pace up, we have a strong chance of winning! Their pace was much better in game 4. They should keep that up and don't let the Celtics set their defense. Luka should focus scoring in the paint, or post up. Especially when the 3s not going down. The Mavs should also be cautious with the weak side cutters when the Celtics start their drives to the basket, Holiday and White made a ton from those from previous games We got this!!

I expected a 10-20 point win with the Celtics easing up on the gas pedal up 3-0. You could've even talked me into a 30 point win with how the Celtics do have a habit of getting blown out. But a 40 point win with a 50 point lead at one point? It's that number that has me wondering....did Dallas just crack the code? I'm not suggesting that Dallas is gonna reel off 3 more 40 point wins. It'll still be tough and it'll be challenging. But if they have really cracked the code then I don't see why not. Why not these Mavs against these Celtics? And if Hardaway & Exum have found themselves again....that could be some real problems for the Celtics. That's the one thing Dallas has been missing this series. Not counting Lively, the Mavs bench scoring has been pretty MIA. Josh Green has been giving effort but his shot is not consistent. Maxi seems too injured to have any confidence in his shot. Seems like the moment is a little too big for Hardy right now, but maybe that 4th quarter gave him some confidence? And of course Exum & Hardaway have been pretty invisible this entire playoffs. They should also have some really fresh legs...the freshest to be found on the court.

The role player thing is tough, when you're back on the road. But I don't see how Kyrie doesn't get some redemption from the first two games. That would be sweet. Boston, good as they are, has been a team over the past few years that can screw the pooch. Even at home. And if they lose, Celtics nation will be in deep angst. They soil their pants.

Boston's in trouble and hear me out: - The Mavs have tied or won the last 9 out of 12 quarters - The Mavs murdered the Celtics 22-2 in the last quarter of Game 3 - The Mavs massacred the Celtics every single quarter of Game 4. - The Celtics won Games 1&2 largely because of KP and KP is out - The Celtics without KP lost against a Butler-less Miami Heat and a depleted Indiana team - The Celtics have all the pressure on them to close-out Game 5 while the Mavs are playing freely without expectations - The Mavs have all the momentum going into Game 5 and have finally figured out the blueprint against the Celtics Forget about the first two games with KP. This is a different Boston team now.
