Hi Tammy! Thank you so much for this! I'm a freshman pursuing neuro and something that has really been on my mind is the jobs I would be able to get with just a bs and the career routes in general. This was honestly super helpful and I wanted you to know that your videos really are a point of guidance and inspiration for students like me who don't know what they want to do with themselves and haven't had much exposure. Its reassuring! Thank you for your hardwork! Oh and also, access to your spreadsheet is restricted :( would it be possible to change the accessbility to that? Once again, thank you
Hey @GA1A_! Thank you for your kind words! If you have any questions, please feel free to DM me @tamscends on IG :) I changed the restrictions. Let me know if it still doesn't work!
finally someone talked about something other than science writer and research.I like ur vids a lot i wish u posted more sis u r in med school i guess?thanks for taking out the time to make the vid i wanna deal more with the brain but without the hassle of med school do u think neuropsych is more about the brain ofc with the behaviour combined thanks bae
I think it depends! One could pursue clinical neuropsychology, where they treat individuals with neurological and psychological disorders, such as traumatic brain injuries, dementia, stroke, and epilepsy. Another could work in research to explore topics like memory, attention, language, and decision-making, using techniques such as neuroimaging and cognitive assessments. Another example might be becoming a Mental Health Counselor or Therapist where Neuropsychology knowledge can be useful in counseling individuals with mental health issues by understanding the neurological underpinnings of certain conditions and tailoring treatment approaches accordingly. Does this answer your question?
hi Tammy! I'm wondering if you could be able to upload a video of a run through of your neuroscience personal statement? There's limited access to personal statements regarding this field so it would be much appreciated :) Thank you
