It put me in hospital when I was pregnant. In the ward the other pregnant women ask each other why they were in hospital. They all said high blood pressure so when they asked me and I said low blood pressure they all laughted.

Hi! My is always on the low side, I taken so meds, went to Doctor for annual visit, nurse said according to this u don’t have a blood pressure, that was the first time I realized medication could lower blood pressure! Now I more careful! Thanks! 🤗🥰

I have low blood count and my blood pressure is low sometimes I haven’t been diagnosed with low blood pressure but most morning I feel tired. I’m not a morning person.

Thanks for the info doc! I’ve had a bunch of symptoms lately like feeling foggy, fatigue, ear pressure and fullness, pressure around the temples, even dizzy spells, though brief. Home BP monitor showed an upper value less than 90 or very low 90’s many times, though the lower number was above 60. Most recent ECG showed sinus bradycardia though they said my Echo was normal (slight murmur has been there for few years). So I just deal with it now feeling pretty yucky for at least some part of the day. No one has answers for me.

Crazy you chose this topic as it is something I have been dealing with last few weeks but particularly last week. I have adrenal insufficiency secondary due to steroids (I had leukaemia) and I found myself getting dizzy a lot when standing up especially . I had a hip replacement surgery 3 weeks ago so I would say that has part to do with it. But with my endocrinologist team I’m on steroids probably for life coz my body doesn’t produce cortisol. So I have a regular dose I take but I also have instructions if I’m sick or injured and after surgery for a bit I take a bit extra depending on the situation so that’s what I’ve been doing and also making sure drinking enough water as it’s hot here in Australia right now

Wow that explains a lot. Whenever I asked nurses they didn't say anything to explain. Maybe they just weren't aware or simply careless. I didn't think it was a big deal but now I wonder. Thanks Dr. Jen & GOD BLESS!

Thank you Dr. Jen ! Great information, very helpful! I know when i am dehydrated, my blood pressure gets low, because i feel dizzy and it darkness starts closing in ,like i am going to faint. I drink some Gatorade and water and i am good . Appreciate you. Good night and God bless 😊🙏💝

I was at Dr office yesterday and they were concerned about my low blood pressure. They did a few more readings (laying back, standing up). I was there for dizziness, sinus congestion, headache, sick for past 14 days.....The Dr thought I might be dehydrated too (she was right). So just sinus/allergy (not an infection) problem and I got some prescriptions. I'm also on a new medication for A-Fib that was diagnosed this month. Eliquis (blood thinner) side effects can also give you low blood pressure. So maybe I had a combination of the two for yesterday's low blood pressure?

Hello, can I pick your brain? Now I’ve been having this debate with my sister, who’s a nurse. I am of the understanding that hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism cause hypertension, it’s only in advanced stages due to bradycardia that low BP can occur, and even in this scenario it can manifest in low systolic BP and high diastolic BP more commonly. What is the reason for saying hypothyroidism could be a cause for low BP? Is it just the bradycardia? All the literature I look at says it is associated with hypertension. Thoughts?

I was diagnosed last year with low blood pressure. I ended up in ER. I’m 63. My pressure in ER went to 90/30. I got in to see a cardiologist and all 5 of my heart test were normal. I’m on medication am/pm for low blood pressure. Dr still doesn’t know why my bp went so low.

I’ve been told that my blood platelets showed up as low on a blood test and I’ve always had lowish blood pressure. Could those be linked? Also I’m starting to feel it more now than before - always feeling fatigued and sluggish but now I’m feeling light headed nauseous and weak

??? I started a month ago drinki g 4 - 5 cups of coffee. Can that cause Red Blood Count levels to increase and hematocrit as well. Its slightly up but this is the first time ever. ? I'm searching for a video.
