Barge All Purpose Cement *****+ (5 Stars) Very difficult to pull apart
Barge Infinity Cement ***** (5 Stars) Difficult to pull apart
Tanner's Bond Rubber Cement **** (4 Stars) Not easy to pull part, cement still sticky after 3 hours of dry time.
Aleen's Original Leather and Suede Glue * (1 Star) Way too easy to pull apart
Drying Speed:
Barge All Purpose Cement: Quick - Under 10 minutes and no longer sticky after 20
Barge Infinity Cement: Super Fast - Under 5 minutes and no longer sticky after 10.
Tanner's Bond Rubber Cement: Fairly Quick - Under 10-15 minutes, still sticky up to 45 mins.
Aleen's Original Leather and Suede Glue: Very Slow - Complete drying time depends on the thickness of application. Can take up to an hour. Not sticky when dry.
Overall rating and Suggested Application:
Barge All-Purpose Cement: Great, Any size project, that allows for a reasonable drying time.
Barge Infinity Cement: Great, Ideal for small projects for a quick turnaround to complete
Tanner's Bond Rubber Cement: Good, Any size project where time is not a factor.
Aleen's Original Leather and Suede Glue: Fair, Safe for leather projects with kids.
Disadvantages:
Barge All-Purpose Cement: Not Clear, can dry with a yellow tint.
Barge Infinity Cement: Dry's Superfast, may require reapplication
Tanner's Bond Rubber Cement: Still sticky or tacky after 45 mins, doesn't adhere as well as Barge products, but clear and good for projects with stitching.
Aleen's Original Leather and Suede Glue: Basically as good as 1st-grade school glue.
