What’s up bro. Did you ever pick one of these up? Just curious if you’re satisfied with the purchase. I’m thinking of getting one of these purely just to have one in my collection and take to the range for some fun.
Right now unfortunately it's whatever ammo I can get. I have a some American Eagle 147 grain and Federal Syntec 150 grain that it shoots fine. Sorry, It's hard to get a variety of ammo right now. One day I'll get a bunch of different ammo and see how it handles them all.
This Beretta 92X Performance was around 1300 I think. I guess depends what you think is fair. I'd say anything around 1400 or less for this handgun is fair, it's really a nice one. I had a hard time finding anything below 700 in stainless that's why I ended up just going for this one.
I haven't taken it through an airport myself, but it sounds like it meets the criteria. From TSA: Declare the firearm and/or ammunition to the airline when checking your bag at the ticket counter. The container must completely secure the firearm from being accessed. Locked cases that can be easily opened are not permitted. Be aware that the container the firearm was in when purchased may not adequately secure the firearm when it is transported in checked baggage. The case is a hard case that does secure the firearm from being accessed, and it's not easily opened (unless you have the combo) I wonder if they would want another padlock or something, which you can add yourself.
