They've been doing this ever since I was a kid back in 72. Back then they threw rocks at each other because that's all they had.

Worked as a volunteer nurse in the West Bank in the '80's & was treated with utmost hospitality, courtesy & gratitude by every Palestinian I encountered. However, in a village I was (distantly) taunted with rocks by young kids mistaking me as Israeli simply due to my fair hair, skin colouring & possibly western attire. Was a powerful eye opening realisation of how 'automatic' reactive prejudice & hatred can begin on nothing more than un-informed assumptions & 'different' appearances! My time there made me a staunch supporter of Palestinian rights & 4 decades later, I wonder what became of them, their children & possibly grandchildren.
