To everyone unable to hear what he said before "Aww" and "Just kidding!", he said "Or used it for kindling." Implying he set it on fire. That's why Jared joked about everyone getting mad when they say something bad about Misha. At least that's what I heard; It was a little hard to understand.
@@Kira-tu3xp That's just because (as far as I heard, anyway) Anna was introduced to replace Cas, who was going to be killed off, but the fans loved him so much that they kept him on and got rid of Anna instead. They also apparently wanted to kill him off a couple of other times as well, but again he was so popular that they kept bringing him back and presumably gave up on trying to (permanently, at least) kill him off.
To be honest most of us ship based purely on chemistry, regardless of gender/orientation/even species. It's fiction. We're allowed to do that because the characters become whatever the writers want them to be, including fanfiction writers or what any single person in the fandom wants to believe. We enjoy the love :)
idk why but some how I think both Jensen and Dean look eye to eye on expressing their feelings like they are both open and all but they don't like it when the people they tell it too react to it ..then they just sorta barricade themselves and become all macho and indestructible like "I'm made of steel I'm dead inside oh nothing can touch me " while they're just big teddy bears who I want to hug and give a hot chocolate
Hahaha, that's the first time I've seen Jensen so contrite with the crowd ;) It's like he goes to say "I'm just kidding!" aggressively but then ends up saying it in a consoling tone to placate everyone, lol. He better have been kidding, I miss my Misha. Jared is hilarious, giving the Dean/Cas shippers something to grin about!
Scoop Maloop yeah and still with that attitude... Misha doesn't care, Jared is ok with it too. I don't know, why is he so f-unconfortable At this?!!!Sam is in so many ships and Jared seems ok. all straight and married men, so what? they are actors! I don't understand Jensen At this point.
This is such a late reply and a little off topic, but I ship Destiel in a sort of Fanfiction way only. I do like to read about them and see cute edits about them because they would be good together if things had been different. Like if a lot of things had been different. Dean obviously isn't gay and Castiel seemed asexual at first, but as he became more human I could see his growing interest in a romantic/sexual partner but it seems to be only females he's interested in. Therefor, it wouldn't work out canonically. If they actually made Dean and Castiel share a romantic relationship anyways it would be completely out of character and just wrong for the plot. I honestly don't believe Sam, Dean, or Cas should have any endgame relationships because I think the whole show is mainly about the bonding of two brothers, and, over time, a fallen angel. Adding in a serious romantic relationship would kind of take away from the whole "The three of us against the world" theme that the show is all about. However, I do believe that short romantic interests really added to the story. For example, Jo, Lisa, Jess, and Hannah. They were really amazing actors and characters and it was nice to have them for a while. I think that the fact that all of their previous love interests weren't a main part of the plot for a long time is because this show doesn't revolve around romance, but around family and friends. It's about people fighting inner and outer demons and finding out who always has their backs. On Wincest, well, my opinion is the same. The idea would be interesting for separate stories and things off the show, but it would really make things wrong if that happened in Supernatural. I don't really believe in long-term romantic ships on the show, and it does bother me when characters are obviously straight and yet people still insist that the ship is real. Also, it's so annoying when fans ask questions about their ships to the actors. Jensen has repeatedly stated that, while it's fun to joke about Destiel and Wincest, he would be uncomfortable if it was put on the show. Most likely because he's a married straight man, and Dean is straight as well. It's just awkward for the cast when people try to shove two characters together, who we all know would never be canon. To summarize things a bit, I just want to say that I do respect the idea of Wincest and Destiel, but it isn't real in the show. It is a beautiful pair outside of the universe that the writers have created. Attempting to have the ships put onto the show is honestly just hopeless. Cas is an angel. Dean is a human. Both are straight, as shown many times throughout the program. Sam and Dean are brothers, not lovers. Neither one of these ships would work out on Supernatural and even if they did, it wouldn't be helpful to the plot. That's all. :) P.S: I am writing this as somebody who has a Tumblr blog and makes reader insert one shots and stuff. So, obviously, I believe in another universe outside of the show, that a love interest could be a serious thing. In the show, they would never keep a love interest for more than a few seasons due to the fact that it would be irrelevant to the story being told. A story of family, friendship, and sacrifice. Not romance. I like the show just as it is and as much as I like shipping characters (I ship a loooottt of characters) I would not be happy if Destiel or Wincest or any other ships became canon in Supernatural.
+theresa Because you have to have sex or romantic relations with another person of a specific gender to determine your sexuality and the only way to determine whether your gay straight bi etc. is to consummate a relationship!
grace jay I didn't say that? I'm bisexual and I've known that long before being in a relationship. I have a girlfriend now but that doesn't mean I'm suddenly 100% gay because I'm not dating a boy. I'm all about the head-canon that Dean is bisexual, but he could be anything really.
+grace jay And, obviously, straight people are not allowed to have intimate emotional relationships with each other without being romantically/sexually involved ; )
Don't wanna be that person but I mean...Destiel is canon in every sense except for actually having sex. Both have admitted they care for each other (Dean is to me in the show shown as being in love with Cas...he puts him on a level above family and "friend") I mean, it's right there, the whole time since season 4, as you said, they're made for each other. idk why I'm rambling but I feel like they are canon...they're just not...there yet physically? I mean, it took Bones 6 years to get together..
I bet Jensen always think whenever something like this happen ‘Don’t fucking encourage them!’ But then Jared and Misha are trolls Sorry, there’s no escape Jensen 😂
For the people who question why we (I) ship Destiel so hard: Because I can. c: That's my reason, that's clearly the ONLY reason ANY fangirl makes a pairing, and that's all I need. Besides that I ship it because the cast ships it, the characters talk about it, there are scenes where it's obvious, and because it's adorable. That's why.
Wondering why we slash them when they aren't canon is sort of beside the point. They CLEARLY have a deep bond. Some people interpret that bond as as a budding romance, and others see it as brotherly love. Neither interpretation is any more valid than the other. Whether or not Destiel becomes canon (unlikely), they are real to me, in my interpretation of the SPN universe. I don't have to watch Jensen and Misha make out on screen to know their characters love one another.
To understand Jensen's uncomfortable reaction with Destiel, think about it like this. To him it's probably the equivalent of shipping him with a cat. He has no sexual atraction to cats, and it would definitely be werid thinking about a sexual relationship with one.

@lelestraws Jared: What is Misha to you guys!? I like, he's not even out here today! Every time I make fun of Misha, you're all like 'ehhhhhhh.' Jensen: Yeah. I-I don't know. We haven't really touched on that yet, so be continued, I guess... Jared: ...I'm still smelling it. (which I have no idea what he's referring to xD)
I don't see Destiel as an actual romantic shipping, but I do see that deep bond they have. Cas says that he has a deeper bond with Dean than Sam, and Dean even says to Cas' face that he thinks of him as a Brother. It's just that kind of bond.
Jared, haven't you learnt by now that we are Misha Minions and we must always protect the Overlord? I thought that was obvious.... oh well...*goes off to Misha shrine*
And they're straight and both clearly were attracted to each other since day 1. Still took them 6 years of running around before either manned up and said they loved each other...it's the beginning of their 4th season and TOTES-hetro "stuff your feelings down" Dean Winchesters has befriend a supernatural being, told him he needed him, wasn't leaving w/o him, kept his trenchcoat with him, publicly mourned his death/betrayal but mostly death an entire season (booze, depression). I mean...come on.
Q..What's 'shipping? I think its putting two characters together, correct? So, why are Dean and Sam together? I don't understand how two hetero chars, brothers no less turn into a thing. Someone explain this without attitude please, as I've seen Tony Stark/CptAmerica , and even Kirk/Spock, and within the universes these characters inhabit, as a long time fan of this show and of Trek, and Marvel, I just can't wrap my head around it. (NOT saying it's a sexuality thing per se, but its seems out of char for them.)
***** Thanks for the reply, I've inquired about the question other places and you wouldn't believe the replies I got, wow! I understand the 'Mary Sue' sort of stories out there, but these 'ships' I just don't get. I mean I understand it isn't 'real', but the characters as written, and played IMO don't seem to lend themselves to those sort of relationships, esp. when the 'heroes' are so hetero. (Not that I'm disrespecting anyone in a same sex relationship, but it's just strange to know that chars I enjoy watching every week, or reading about, are written into those types of relationships.)
***** I think this is the most respectful and formal comment chain that I've ever read on RU-vid before... It's really odd... Refreshing, but odd. Esspetial when it's explaining about ships because those types of questions usually put flocks of angry fangirls into attack mode... Kudos to you, Internet Person :)

TheresaTheTurtle Hi Theresa, thx for answering the question as you did. (I've asked these sorts of ship' questions with other fandoms, and have gotten really hateful replies.) I really enjoyed your answer about the Wincest, as I am a Supernatural, a Marvel/DC and Star Trek fan, I've heard of and seen a small example of Kirk/Spock, Superman/Batman and Cpt. A/Tony Stark ships, and they are so out of character and wrong IMO to put them, or any character into those sorts of twisting scenarios in order to produce an result they'd never be in, in canon.
The Man From Krypton Its interesting. You see, people interpret characters differently, and sometimes they're like "oh those two are a good pair!" (Even if they haven't met). So they imagine scenarios with them together. And they think it's cute. The ships don't necessarily have to make sense, because there's AUs (alternate universes) a fan can create to use for the characters. And even if a character is proven straight or most likely cis some people like twisting characters so they are TRANS and stuff. But those are just AUs most of the time. There's different types of ships and fanfics too. There's smut: which is like, sex and shit FLUFF: cute and innocent and awwwww Slash: Gay (so let's say Kirk/Spock) Crack ship: a shop that makes little sense (like the two characters have never met) but you ship it anyways OTP: one true pairing (favorite ship) OT3: your favorite pairing involving 3 people Ship name: the combination of names like Dean and Cas is destiel But in a sense most fangirl ships are gay because I guess that's what people like Though don't get me wrong there is a lot of girl x girl and straight too But yeah it doesn't matter what sexuality the characters are. Because people are crazy and they don't really care, they put characters into fictional universes and pin them together. Which I have no problem with usually unless it bothers someone like a creator or actor. All in all, shipping is when you put two (or more) people together because you think they would be a cute couple, no matter what. (There's some worse things than incest, trust me on this. Lots worse....)
I seriously wonder where people see slash. I'd do all Dean has done for Cas for my best friend, who is like a sister to me. Profound bonds/friendships like Dean and Cas are so rare people honestly mistake them for something they clearly are not. Dean/Cas will never happen. I don't mean to be rude but it's the truth.
Yes, I know, but it's become practically a dirty word to the cast, and nothing's really canon unless they act on their feelings or say something or hell, just kiss each other's faces off. I know about the context though, the context keeps me sane.
what's wrong with shipping two people of the same gender? I don't see a problem with it since I know for a fact most shippers don't just ship gay couples they ship straight couples too it's just the gay couples are more common with everywhere finally allowing same sex marriage.
I disagree, because I was seriously asking for examples as to where it's so obvious that they are indeed in love with each other, other than people wanting them together. Once again, not trying to be rude, just curious.
they do that because it's funny and joke with each others, they don't do only destiel jokes, so don't take every single thing seriously and say they ship it please, it's annoying -.-
