Better Extra Deck? With the exception of the Xyz and Link monsters + Megafleet since it requires a Emz monster and Cyberdark End Dragon He all the other Fusions
One card, I have to say I feel like Aster would run due to theming and for his Diamond Dude to pop up (especially in tandem with Dominance) is Draw of Fate given the incredible normal spell cards of his choosing he can get, but he can activate the card's effect without the requirement of needing to have lower life points than the opponent. I cannot express how fun it is when I added it to my Destiny Hero deck (few Evil and w/e dark attribute monster support).
In Tag Force 3. Blair got a complete overhaul and started playing Lightsworn. So, just make her the Lightsworn user. Since her cards will never be printed.
Bastion could be favourable in this scenario if we're talking spin offs, because in the manga ( which is a spin off timeline, correct me if I'm wrong) he played zombies, and with the new support the zombie archetype/deck has, he could perform really well
Ogdoadic actually works for Viper perfectly fine, thematically. His core motivation being to revive his son, so a snake-themed deck based around revival of monsters is fitting.
Wouldn‘t Dangers! be Perfect for Chumley? They are rare and often times dangerous creatures Like most wildlife in Australia, because it doesn’t exist elsewhere. Many people first thought that these animals couldn’t be real just like cryptids. And they life on an island you first have to get to from everywhere else in the world. Yeah there is no Danger! From Australia but I think it could fit with Chumley being kind of able to talk to duel spirits so him collecting cards of animals that might or might not exist really fits for me.
I mean, obviously it's because only one copy exists of Super Poly in the GX anime. I think multiple copies exist in Arc-V, though that was done to try to make Ultra Poly more impressive.
My second fave deck of all time. Ancient Gear Golem was the first Ultimate Rare I ever pulled in 1st Ed and is my favourite card in my collection by a mile. I have him framed on the wall, much to my wife's annoyance.
20:54 For my personal preference, he would definitely play Mathmech. They literally reference mathematics + are mechanical based. For a guy with a genius mind, I wouldn’t mind him playing a deck all about addition, subtractions, etc 28:33 Jim Crocodile Cook could combine his Fossil cards with the Adamancipator. The archetype shows characters finding crystallized beasts within diamonds, similar to how Jim Cook finds bones of creatures within rocks. 33:18 Amnael could play a Gren Maju deck, along with Golden Homunculus and the Helios series. The deck is all about banishing cards, so it would definitely work for him
As someone who plays a Fossil/Adamancipator deck I agree. Ngl Im surprised how well these two archtypes fit togetler. Have the girls mill through the deck, summon a bunch of monsters, synchro the boss monsters and use fossil fusion to get out the other monsters
@@thedarknight307 Spot on. I currently play that deck in master duel. I added Kaijus in it, cause if I use the effect of the Water Adamancipator Synchro , I can recover the Kaiju monster on my opponent’s field. Or have it destroyed, so that the Synchro can gain a negate (if it is Gamaciel)/use it as a material for Fossil Fusion.
@@supremeking6694I mainly keep the Water and Wind boss monsters, idk the fire one isnt bad but I just feel the water one with the negate, and returning cards back While the wind has a banishing and monster summoning is way more useful Mainly my version of the deck is about getting the monsters on the field to get out the synchros, fusions and XYZ monsters
@@thedarknight307 Yeah, I also don’t like the Fire Version. I tried it first, but it doesn’t fit well. My Extra Deck usually consists of 3 Xyzs, 5 Synchros, 2 Links and the rest are Fusions
Gladiator Beast she only plays in Tag Force 3 Max deck and that's only if you have a banned card in your deck. So, he's both incorrect and correct, just not the way he thought
22:30 I've had this conversation with someone before and the conclusion i came to was that i think a nice throughline for Chumley would be evolving from the just Koala's and random beasts to take the "Rare animal" concept and make a combo "Danger! Fur Hire" deck so he's got the fluffy critters still going but also the idea of rare animals still part of it and the Fur hire part mostly in Chumley really strikes me as an rpg player and he'd enjoy the furry dnd classes aspect.
If there's been any support for Master of Oz which seemed like his boss monster when he had to face his dad in a duel. Either that or the Des cards in general with a Beast/Beast-Warrior deck theme maybe?
Personally I think nemleria makes some sense, as he is known to sleep a lot and likes food, but it's more grilled cheese than anything else. Of course I could be pulling that info out of my ass since I haven't watched gx in a while.
Darkness could run a Lair of Darkness deck, with Darkest Diabolos as the boss monster and cards like Lillith, Lady of Lament to tribute the opponent's monsters as the cost for their effects. I could see that being what he'd use
Could also have darklords be an option as well given it would fit being the embodiment of darkness using cards that can be like him summoning his generals to do his bidding.
I feel so bad for Vehicroids. I think they were always supposed to be a counterpart to the Elemental Heroes with the specific fusions etc. With just some better suited support, they could’ve been a good match for them.
can you imagine a world where they got just as much support as heros wed be hearing about new cards and people would be like ugh new vehicroid support again
@@vaultboy5492if they got the same support as HEROs I still don't think they'd be any good. Unless you count Speedroids as Vehicroid support everything you could do to support Vehicroids would work SO much better with Speedroids or generic Machines because they'd have to support every card with "roid" or just machines in general. It's the same problem with Predaplant that the best Predaplant support worked SO MUCH BETTER in generic fusion decks than pure Predaplant.
Nahh they deserve the trash support I can't just take syrus or the vehicroids seriously. I mean, just look at them for christ sake. They scream "im a virgin!". If im a yugioh monster, i wont feel threatened by them. Perfect match to syrus' character lol
So, after thinking about it, I think that the modern deck Banner/Amnael would use is Eldlich/Golden Land. His original deck in the anime was an Alchemy Beast deck, which obviously all had to do with alchemy and making the Philosopher's Stone. The Golden Land cards were also about the Philosopher's Stone. It also has the whole myth of the city of El Dorado angle, which plays into Banner's love of archeology, myths, and legends.
As a Hero Deck Player, I'm so happy seeing Elemental Hero have aged so well despite being older than me. Love beating my friends and opponents with different heroes every time. I'm never gonna neglect this Hero family. Though even with all the new changes, my ace card and favourite card will always be Shining Flare Wingman
@@SowaraAkther1 yeah now that I'm getting back into yugioh I've built two hero decks one is dedicated to neos and the other flame wingman and there's finally a comic shop close by where I can play it'll feel good to get back into the swing of things although I think I'll play master duel first to get a feel for the new playstyle
Maybe you could give Chumley a Danger deck. It's not really Australian, but the mix of unassuming and dangerous would be kinda cool for a guy like him.
After GX Season 4, Cyrus started using Cyberdark with the condition that he would have to adapt new strategies to satisfy them. I imagine Cyrus would run many different decks structured around Cyberdark. Mostly dark machines.
Fun fact: Legacy of the Duelist as well as Link Evolution gave us duelist challenges where the anime characters had new decks. Some were wildly different, all things considered. First released in July of 2015 and the latest update to Link Evolution in mid-2020, the new decks can be challenging if you obey the F/L lists.
I'm surprised you didn't mention the Yokai zombie monsters that Bastion Misawa used in the GX manga. Those cards include Mezuki, Gozuki, Nine-Tailed Fox, Crow Tengu, Goka the Pyre of Malice, Red Ogre, Daidara-Bocchi, Shutendoji, and Onmoraki. Bastion also used Enma's Judgment and Haunted Shrine in that deck as well. So, instead of a modern Water Dragon theme deck or Chemicritter deck, why can't Bastion use a modern Zombie that centers around the Yokai monsters? Considering that many Zombie decks play cards like Mezuki and Gozuki, it's not that big of a stretch.
Why not both? In the anime, he was shown to have a variety of decks so I can definitely see him having both Chemicritters/Gemini and Yokai Zombies as his main decks with Water Dragon Cluster with Duoterion for like 1 fanservice duel.
For the manga vers of Bastion, I think Mayakashi and Shiranui would suit him, then for his anime version... Math-Mech, Deskbots, Chemicritters, and Tindangels.
Chumley could maybe play a DANGER!? Deck? Bunch of dangerous animal monsters and if he had an Australia deck, a deck filled with murderous criptids could work. Because Australias wildlife is just that wild.
13:19 Syrus does inherit the Cyber Darks tho. To make a CyberRoid deck. Then Zane chooses to move on from them. No one really knows if Syrus kept them all or if Zane took some back to build his new path. So that could have helped you along with making a better deck for him.
Ok first off:I don't know why everyone keeps saying that Judai changed Elemental HEROs for Neo Spacians and the went to use the two together, since the very first moment he got Neo Spacians he used them alongside his E-HEROs and he got many victories with his E-HEROs after that point, he even said to Edo that his deck was finally complete, so it's always been a E-HERO/Neo Spacian deck. Also I guess if it was up to me I would cut the Masked HEROs since the anime and manga are very different and just add to Judai's repertoire the Evil HEROs and Yubel cards since he mastered his Gentle Darkness powers and can use them at will alongside his Yubel Powers, representing it by using their cards makes a lot of sense.
@@Deathmare235 I dunno, Neos Wiseman is a thing, and it would signify the eternal bond he and Yubel have, so it would be strange to have him have his darkness mastered with evil heroes but not have Yubel by his side. And I think the Yubel cards would work, probably not all of them, but with the new support TGS mentioned, that new Yubel fusion plus the special summon yubel plus super poly would work pretty well I think. And if evil heroes are in, then malicious bane and fiend would pair with Yubel, though fiend would not be as good as bane.
Realistically, if Jaden were to use modern cards, but also considering his personality, he would be running a low power E-Hero deck due to him preferring to run all his neo-spacians, preferred E-Hero, and some of the new fusions, i think he would hate the 15 card extra deck limit though
I like this series because it scratches an itch that wasn't really scratched by Arc-V despite them trying to do so. Also I'm intrigued on how you're going to do Arc-V, considering the repeat characters who actually play different decks (Kite not playing Photons AT ALL in Arc-V for example)
@@bmwjourdandunngoddess6024 No reason? So we're just gonna ignore the massive production problems the show faced and the skeleton crew they were stripped down to?
Your spiel into Chem Critters was adorable!! Haha I've never heard of them but I like that theme too, Chemical themed decks like Bastion's Hydrogedons I remember always thinking were so cool!!
There would be nuclear fusion ( a polymerisation that relies on the materials levels to produce a fusion with the level equal to the sum of it's materials) and nuclear fission ( which by tributing a high level monster wipes the field, prevents the opponent from using any card zone that previously had a card on there for a turn, and allows you to summon monsters from the graveyard whose levels sum is equal to the monster sacrificed to use this card). And a chemistry deck would rely on levels to function.
I hope one day Atticus gets his own archetype styled after the Red-Eyes Darkness monsters. I doubt it'll get announced within the decade, or even the next 5, but my hope'll never die.
This is a really good video idea, would love for you to do another video like this for Yugioh 5Ds (cause so many characters have new support...except Luna 😬)
Don't forget that cyber angel Idaten's tribute text line doesn't state that the card must be tributed from the field to activate. You can give your cyber angel ritual monsters 1000 extra atk and def by tributing idaten as ritual material as she simply needs to be tributed(literally by any means) in order to trigger and she CANNOT miss timing as this effect reads 'if this card is tributed'. Given that at level 6 she can wipe out most if not all the cost of a cyber angel's ritual summon requirements on her own this could open up some disgusting combinations of card effects including looping idaten for ritual tribute. So a 1000 Atk stronger Benten or Dakini (if combined with a level 2 cyber monster like petit angel or egg angel) could become a terrifying combo machine in this deck.
Can I say the thumbnail looks amazing. I know it is just a picture of Jaden throughout the seasons but seeing him grow and gain heterochronic eyes seems stunning. He so pretty!
Thank you so much for making this video! Im a recently returning yugioh player. Pickled up paper yugioh a month ago cause of phantom nightmare as I really WANTED a yubel deck. Even went to my first locals with it. That said, yugioh Gx lives in my heart rent free and I love everything about it. Great video, solid points and very entartaining and nostalgic. Subscribed! Hopefully more GX content on the way
As mentioned before, Joey would also use a Red-Eyes deck. Joey said Flame Swordsman because he didn't have Red-Eyes at the time as he didn't duel Rex yet. Once he obtained Red-Eyes, Red-Eyes became his partner, even to become Duel Champion alongside Red-Eyes. And as you used manga cards for Jaden and Aster, don't forget the others. Chazz with a dragon deck with key monsters Light End Dragon, Dark End Dragon, and Light and Darkness Dragon. Atticus could use Red-Eyes or he could use his winged-beast deck. Alexis uses an Ice based deck around Tribute Summoning. And so on.
U could've also allowed Cyrus to use cyber and dark cyber dragons since that was what he got from his brother in the last season he added them to his deck
For Chazz , he could have used the chaos dragon (light end dragon, dark end dragon , Light and Darkness Dragon) that used in the manga And for Bastion he could have used the Yokai deck he used in the Manga. And for Alexis she could had the ice counters , I know they haven’t had support , but again it is an option Just stating the option, sorry
Happy 20th anniversary GX, one of my favorite shows when I was a teenager and I don’t know why but I’m on a season 3 binge watch lately and I love Rainbow Dragon.
I have a deck meshing Fossil Fusions with Adamancipators that was a lot of fun. It'd be perfect for Jim I think. It's like actual Adamants, not the endless synchro engine that ends on no Adamant cards.
I agree. Evil HERO needs more supports like some new fusion monsters with Bubbleman as material, alternative cards of Clayman and Wildheart, and new corrupted Evil HERO monster cards
Serious missed opportunity to give Darkness a Lair of Darkness deck, it relies on a field spell and disrupting your opponent with traps, similar to how Darkness operated
Tanya actually played an Amazoness deck that is much more focused. Consider all the fusions and spell support that has gotten. Amnael having a deck that is heavily banished focus I imagine Gren Maju de Aiza as a last trick and also have cards for deck destruction banishment. For Bastion, I honestly think since he's supposedly the most calculating of the cast he would be utilizing the MathMech archetype although it could do with some new mathmech specific support and I am tired of seeing it always paired with the Code Talkers. Jim can also play his Fossil deck alongside the Adamancipators and you could say Jim would be playing a deck themed on Excavation both rare minerals and fossils.
I could see Aster pheonix playing some of the other heroes like stratos in his deck because his deck did have a few elemental heroes in including Avion, burstinatrix, Sparksman, and clayman (maybe bubbleman I'm not 100% sure about that one.) After all his original pheonix enforcer was a elemental hero and yet he unnecessary had clayman.
Chum Lee I think would play Master of Oz in the deck, it was given to him by Jaden in the anime and holds some sedimental value for him. So maybe a deck based if that.
Elemental HERO is my favourite archetype. Sure Dark Magician is obviously iconic to me, Stardust Dragon is my favourite card and Bunnila is mu duel spirit but, as a whole i love the elemental heroes a lot
1. Syrus would play a Cyberdark deck. 2. What about Alexis's Manga Ice Counter deck? 3. What about Atticus's Manga Sphere deck? 4. What about Chazz's Manga Light & Darkness deck? 5. Bastion's Yokai deck? A fire Dragon made of Iron & Magnesium. A 3-headed Water Dragon referencing Tritiated Water. A T2-18O spell. 6. Jesse's Insect deck? 7. Axel's Electro deck?
I think Viper would play Ogdoadic if only because the deck focuses on filling the grave with reptiles to revive them later which fits his ace monster Vennominon perfectly. And he could still play Rise of the Snake Deity and Vennominaga if he wanted to.
@@sigmaenjoyer7020 Atticus and Joey kinda play divergent versions of red-eyes. Atticus plays a version that represents the potential darkness in ppl and Joey plays the potential strength in himself. With that in mind aliens are a reptile archetype that fits closer to viper with counter control being a part of their mechanic.
@@mr2oxking This is not mine but Viper entire plot that drive him to be villain is to revive his son, so Ogdoadic being his modern deck seems fitting since Ogdoadic revive alot.
I like the idea of Chaz playing armed dragon as it's also a homage to his manga deck which was a dragon type deck specialising in getting out high level dragons quickly
Feels weird to not note about this for Yubel, but there's even MORE Support that is coming to them after Phantom Nightnare. There's a Field Spell, and a Very Useful Fusion Monster called Phantom of Yubel that just makes the deck so useful.
Tania played an Amazoness deck. So what do you think. Also I made an Aussie Icon deck. Here is the list Monsters Big Koala 3x Vampire Koala 2x Sea Koala 2x Tree Otter/Tree Koala 2x Des Koala 2x Des Kangaroo 2x Des Wombat Earth Effigy 2x**** The Earth - Hex-Sealed Fusion**** Spell Ayers Rock Sunrise Closed Forest 2x*** Spiritual Forest Wild Nature’s Release Polyemrization 2x Fusion Recovery Monster Reborn Raigeki Shield Crush Cosmic Cyclone Ruthless Denial Book of Moon Shrink Yellow Luster Shield Traps Roaring Earth*** Howl of the Wild Interdimensional Matter Transporter** Bottomless Trap Hole Curse of Anubis Spell Shield-8* Malfunction* Extra deck Master of Oz 2x Koalo-Koala *I am in the process of upgrading my specific negate Counter Traps to at least one omni-negate Counter Trap and either an additional omni-negate trap or a "Kangaroo Champ", so don't rank on about it. **Chumley used the similar card "Beast Soul Swap" for "Wild Nature's Release" but I went with Kaiba's card "Interdimensional Matter Transporter" ***To help support this deck I actually use some of the Dark Signer Devack's trump cards from 5Ds. ****Although not beasts, Australia is home to a lot of iconic rock formations (e.g. Uluru itself), and these two cards help out a lot with a deck with a lot of Earth Attributes monsters.
Bastions magnets were a positive & negative theme according in the dub. That can potentially be a future game mechanic as long as they fit it around a new master rule.
Same as the other video, I think this prompt is more fun when you try to pick out a NEW deck for them that fits their vibe / strategies. Bastion: Mathmech. Easily Mathmech. NERD! Chemicritters aren't bad either. Cyrus: Karakuri / Geargia / Earth Machine Viper: Ogdoadic Bonaparte: Whichever half of the (Infer)noble knights is French Chazz: An engine pile. With Dustons. Chumlee: Gladiator Beast? Melffy? Axel: Burn... Jayden: Six Samurai? See, there are so many options.
Evil Heroes are a favorite of mine and as some who likes coming up with ideas for these kinds of things, I have been thinking about what else these guys need to become a viable deck. They are: 1) more in archetype fusion summoning cards. The Castle has definitely been helpful, but they still need cards to help with fusion summoning. They need a dark version of “Fusion Recovery,” a fusion trap, it’s own version of Super Poly, substitution monsters, heck a pendulum monster that can do Trump Witch would be helpful too! Plus ones like the trap-fusion, the pendulum fusion and the super poly can also grant the in-archetype immunity Dark Fusion gives. 2) more main deck support. There is currently no dark version of “Hero Barrier” or “Hero Signal” to help get monsters onto the field quickly. It also lacks means to boost attack and defense outside of the Castle. All way have thus far is Evil Mind (came out with Bane and the Castle, you missed that)! 3) more/better Fusion Monsters. There are 3 different directions this could be taken, either individually or all at once: A) more dark versions of preexisting Heroes. Somehow we have yet to get an Evil version of Shining Flare Wingman, or a dark version of Phoenix Enforcer and its evolved form. Plus, I feel like a dark version of Terra Firma could fit in with this deck. B) furthering the group I like to call the “Evil Omni Heroes,” like Bane and Dark Gaia. Since the traditional Omnis focus on attributes, these guys could focus on types. Some would have predetermined attack and defense while others would have theirs determined the same what Dark Gaia’s is (through the material). It would also fit well with both Super Poly and if they made an archetype exclusive version of the card. C) new original fusions. They could be fusions involving Yubel (she would still try and make herself a part of whatever deck Jayden would play), or fusions that aren’t done in the Elemental Hero archetype like Avian + Clayman or Wildheart + Sparkman or even Avian + Burstinatrix + Clayman + Sparkman + Wildheart! They could also do fusions between 2 or more particular Evil Heroes.
I pretty much agree with the different decks given to the various characters, and I like the addition of some of their Manga cards into their decks. the one small change I'd make is specifying Viper's deck a bit more from just Reptiles to more specifically Snakes, it more closely fits with his theme as well as his name. I say this because Reptiles in the game also includes things like Lizards, Worms, Aliens, etc. so it makes sense for him to narrow it down to specifically Snakes because of that, so a lot of the cards with like Snake, Serpent, Viper, etc. in their names would be what the deck is comprised of. For the Shadow Riders, I'm sure others have pointed it out but Tania played Amazoness, I think you even mentioned that in your previous video in this series as to why you were hesitant to give Amazoness to Mai. I believe Titan played specifically the Chess Archfiends (Desrook, Infernalqueen, etc.) with a couple other Archfiends just kinda thrown in there, so maybe if the Chess Archfiends got a bit of support or something. Amnael used Alchemy Beasts but I don't think Alchemy Beasts have been made into actual cards yet, so maybe give him some kind of Alchemy themed deck with some of the Helios cards thrown in there. Also, while the Black Scorpions are thieves, I believe the Don Zaloog in the Anime was a detective or at least dressed like a detective, so maybe some detective themed cards or something for him. One of the big characters in the GX Anime that you missed is the Gravekeeper's Chief who obviously had a Gravekeeper's deck which I know has seen support. That's the duel where Jaden gets half of that pendant that helped him remove the Darkness from Atticus IIRC. I know you weren't necessarily doing the Monster Spirits and such, but I thought this one was important enough to bring up. I also agree, releasing the Clear cards without actual Attributes printed onto the cards would be cool, or at the very least a line of text that says "this monster is counted as not having an Attribute" on the card or something.
When I saw the title, I immediately thought of Blair playing Lightsworn and it would fit her well or she could play Madolche instead. Also Tanya played Amazoness not the Gladiator Beasts
I remember Chazz played some Union cards that were like bug-themed machines. Too bad they never got printed, I would have enjoyed playing them and seeing how they would fit in with the ABC, VWXYZ cards.
“You-Sue-Key” Fujiwara… 😅 For future reference, in case you cover his duels in a later video, Yusuke is pronounced more akin to something like “Use-Kay”. That said, it's neat to see whose decks would change the most with more modern cards, and I'd say they fit their characters fairly well. Looking forward to seeing how different the decks for the 5Ds cast would be. Keep up the good work 👍
I miss the days when you needed a spell card to get monsters from the fusion deck, and that it was actually called the fusion deck. I do like Synchro plays and I did make plenty of them in gimmick decks for casual play, but I also don't like how thanks to the extra deck mechanics you can just poop out a bunch of tokens and climb into a scary boss monsters. At least in the old days, you had to draw the fusion spell card to bring that boss monster out.
I mean, Neo-Spacians and Gladiator Beasts both existed pre-Synchro and didn't use fusion spells. Cyber Dragons also had contact fusions. Glad Beats were even meta.
@@RoboJay-jq3cu I think it is out of archetype tokens into extra deck that bother me. I never explained about Sky Strikers. I still groan whenever token spam into Link-4 boss happens, especially if those tokens don't come from an in-archetype spell designed to bring out tokens to use as either fuel or matierl for that archetype's other cards.
Alexis could also use the Impcantation cards as their good generic ritual support allowing her to get out some easy tribute fader for her ritual spells as well as searching said spells and monsters. Her brother Addicus could run a sort of hybrid build of Red eyes and buster blader. To be honest it’s probably the best he’s got in terms of options.
I want to see a breakdown of Jaden's deck across the series, including the manga, and a full breakdown of the hero Archetype, given the new support that we've seen
I feel like Aster would use various subarchetypes of HERO together. But only the DARK ones. Picture in his second duel against Jaden, they both open with monsters like Shadow Mist
With Darkness' Zero to Infinity mechanic I could see him using a Pendulum deck, focus in on the similar style of having key cards on the ends of the Spell/Trap Zones. As which cards, there are a few options. The Amorphage archetype feels like it could play into it well, comparing darkness to sin and all; D/Ds might be good but the vast playstyle might not fit him too well. But I think one that could fit him very well is the Qli Archetype. His want to remove individuality can pair quite nicely with the apocalyptic lore and robotic appearance of the Qliphorts Also for Syrus, an easy switch to give him could be the Geargias. Similar aspects of cute robots combining together Power Rangers style while being at least marginally more usable.
Hey man, i know its not exactly in brand with your usual content. But i have an idea for a video that i think would do well. What if you made new cards for archetypes you enjoy or want to make more viable? You clearly have the card game knowledge, and the channel is all about the design and breakdown of dueling in the series, so what if you designed and showed off some original cards that you think would benefit and improve the viability of archetypes that need better support? Id especially be interested to see how you boost the fossil and veichroid archetypes
I could see Jaden also slotting in a regular Yubel and a Defender Forever, since their souls are fused. Plus, Defender Forever even resembles Flame Wingman! I could also see Aster having at least *some* Elemental Heroes, since he did use them before he pulled out the Destiny Heroes.
I think Aster Phoenix could use some Elemental HERO, since during his first duel against Jaden, it was essentialy a mirror match (and the "original" version of DPE is an E-HERO)
Ultimate Conductor Tyranno basically combines the good elements of every other Tyranno monster while leaving behind the underwhelming parts of those effects: Black Tyranno can attack directly but only when the opponent controls defense position monsters with no backrow/field spells; UCT doesn't have a "direct attack" effect but it forces the opponent's applicable monsters into face-down defense without targeting. Ultimate Tyranno can attack all of your opponents' monsters one time each but it's forced to be the first monster you control to attack - there may be situations where you don't want it to attack first. UCT can attack all opponent's monsters and it's not locked into having to be the first to attack. Super Conductor Tyranno can inflict 1,000 LP damage but you need to tribute a monster you control (itself is an option) and it can't attack when the effect is used. UCT inflicts 1,000 damage when it attacks a defense position monster and sends it to the GY (non-destruction removable). A bit of a stretch admittedly, Tyranno Infinity gains 1,000 ATK for every one of your banished dinosaurs but it's a "?" ATK monster (making it's starting ATK 0) and easily loses the boost if it gets Fiendish Chained or Skill Drained. UCT, while not getting a buff from banished dinos, does require you to banish 2 dinos from the GY to special summon - if one of those banished dinos is Giant Rex (who already starts with 2,000 ATK), it special summons itself and gets a 200 ATK boost for each dino still banished. And screw it, Galaxy Tyranno can special summon itself but requires a "Galaxy" monster to be attacked (Photon monsters which heavily support Galaxy-Eyes do not count for this effect). Then Cyber Dinosaur (which might as well just be a Machine-type "Tyranno" based on how it looks) can special summon itself but only when your opponent special summons a monster. UCT's special summon requirement is easier to do and you don't do it on your opponent's turn.
20:14 Thinking about it, the "Bonding" cards (and Water Dragons) work like fusion spells and monsters. 21:04 In Duel Links he actually has some "Chemicritter" cards as level up rewards, and even played them in an event. 22:30 For a Beast deck, maybe "Fur Hire" would be (a little) more fitting.
For Bastion, i gave him a water dragon/ Magnet warrior hybrid. both archetypes can pull their own archetypes out of the deck and creates a very fast deck. He does well in my cpu vs cpu tournaments.
That's mostly what I do on master duel. Set up custom match and ask for themed/signature deck. So unless you use a baronne deck, you won't ever see it mixed in. Or the goddess card
What I did with Chemicritters, is I used Carboneddon to get out cards like Justicia and Labrodite dragon to go into cards like black Brutdrago, and Old Entity Hastor, which turned around and abused the effect of Supervise. I see no reason Bastian WOULDN'T do this, since he does speak of optimizing his decks, and tempering them for certain matches. At that, it still works with the kinda theme he's really about. The extra normal of a Gemini monster due to their field spell actually introduces some very welcome jank😊
for the unknowing: in japanese, "man" or 万 = 10 000, a number unit english doesn't have, and it is the same first character as manjoume (万丈目)'s name manjoume's catch phrase in jpn is "1, 10, 100, 1000, manjoume thunder", and when he does this catchphrase, he would point a finger into the air armed dragon thunder lv 10's name, pose, and effect is all a reference to this
