Really? I had no idea Wisteria is so invasive. You don't see it too often here. But in London it was everywhere. Very pretty for a very short period. I would like some in my real garden too, so I'll have to search for Amethyst Falls. Thanks Vicki.

@Make Miniatures with Josje Yes. Wisteria will literally pull down arbors. It pulled down 3 sections of my parents 6 ft. wooden fence. It is lovely, but a menace.😈 The Amethyst Falls variety is a much gentler plant.😊

@@vickinoeske1154 Yes its very powerful and aggressive. I had a spectacular white one that was glorious in the spring yet always a constant battle to keep it trained and under control.

Lovely little table, right? I have made a few pieces with barley twist legs before. When I was making the last one I did, a few years ago, I ended up with a double twist and I couldn't figure out what I did wrong. Well, it did look nice but it was not what I wanted 😅 Silver? Uhm...Thanks Beth!

Thank you! Yes, it could well be a stroopwafel. It's funny that you have to tell me this, as a stroopwafel is a Dutch cookie. 😄 However, I never put my stroopwafels on a hot beverage as I like the 'wafel' to be crisp and crunchy. I like to get them freshly made at the stroopwafel market stall. Then the 'stroop' (syrup/caramel) is still warm, and the 'wafel' is warm and crunchy. Yum! Delicious!

That's what I was thinking of (and that's what it is called here). I knew about the marrows, although I did think they could be called courgette at that size as well. Again, something learned! @@MakeMiniatures I would think of a roulade as a dessert, maybe meringue, cream and raspberries, yum its making me hungry!!

In my garden I have a Wisteria that is about 10-12 years old and it’s not only for the spring flowers, it’s on a freestanding south facing 5x4m pergola and provides shade all through the summer and autumn. I do cut off any long tendrils that try to make their escape onto the wall behind it. Lots of buildings have ‘tile hung’ walls here and are very old (1600-1700s) and wisteria can get under these tiles and cause damage. That said it has a major haircut only once a year and it takes about an hour…. Love your purchases, Josje, specially the turned little table, what a little treasure! Idske
