Went on Saturday at 8 am and got a few! Found a couple of albums that I wanted for cheap like Thelma Houston & Pressure Cooker - I've Got The Music In Me and Pink Floyd - Meddle in great shape!
I always said if I ever could get to Montreal for a weekend. I would probably spend my entire time in that Aux 33 store. I've ordered some great stuff from them over the years.
I live a decent ways away from Aux 33 but I still manage to get a package from them delivered almost every week! They have a pretty spectacular selection of new used arrivals and they get just about everything new in every genre. Also walking distance from a number of other great record stores and easy to plan a day around a visit!
I was there two. and I grad a lot of classical records that I did not have and a few compilations. They were for the most in decent shape. Now I'm stoke to clean them before playing them😭, but most that I played sounded good and I'm happy whit my find😊. It's a good event for those who's looking for old classical records.
@@howtovinyl Maybe, who knows? There was a lot of peoples there and I went with my big scooter, so I have to make 3 small trip to fill it up and there was a guy with some assitants to fill up a chevyvan whit box of stuf.☺ Anyway it was fun.
I'd have driven up from Burlington VT for that sale if I had known! Wow. I probably would have dropped about $200 lol and been there all day. I'd have to declare 'used records' at the border, lol.
Man, their 1$ sales before pandemic were sooo much better. Especially electronic music (they are no experts). This time they had to pay us to get records...so much scrap...IMHO
I doubt I would rush to a record show where the records cost a 1.00 Likely most of them are awful, wrecked jackets, missing stuff and probably scratched. Not my speed. I’d rather pay for quality, not quantity.
