Sometimes I feel like Glen doesn't even realize that he is now one of the great performers that people are looking up to. He's on the other side of "meeting one's heroes". Got a chance to meet him on my birthday this year in Dublin, August the 15th. An amazing person and performer. May he live long and prosper!

I once heard glen explain how you don't choose the music you love. It chooses you. He said you suddenly say that person speaks my language. You just understand and "get it"

He is very much a legend. He tells a story like my other hero eddie vedder. Very similar in their sence of humour and ability to have 1000s of people eagerly waiting on every word. Glen speaks my language for sure

Glen, I "discovered" you a short time ago and thanks to the same selection I'd probably made for the important songs and the way you talk about this, made exactly what you said: it brought me back (and I'm not nostalgic) . And since 20 yr older than , all those songs are connected to moment in and out of love (my normal state of mind) and even the girls all gone I still what I felt , as Einstein said, energy doesn't disappear. Thnx for your music and your words. You "bombed" into me in a moment of -re-starting writing , as I always did, but it was buried for 20 years. As B.B. King said , all what is in you, one day comes out ......

The whole album hejira's like a Hitchcock or Kubrick movie. Everything's foreshadowed. There's nothing accidental. Possibly the best concept album ever- and yet there's no big reveal, it's a story where her lover, Furry, the ghost of WC Handy, and Sharon are sending Joni on a path of self-discovery and world weariness. Hard to think of any album like it, but I do welcome recommendations.

I love his cover of this song; it does it justice and is great that he keeps Joni's original pronouns in the song. I've often felt that the male voice gets closer to Joni's phrasing and emotions.

The air changes around them ....and you were breathing it !!!! BTW I'm not musician, but all pivotal songs for you were the same for me........
