What Do Japanese People Think of Japanese Kpop Idols? 

Most young Japanese are their fans. Most older Japanese don't know what Kpop is.

If anyone recalls first japanese born kpop idol... ayumi lee (iconiq). She was zainichi so not sure if she counts as japanese but her korean was heavily accented which was her charm. She was a member of Sugar (sm entertainment). One of her group member was Soojin (whos married to bae yoon joon aka yonsama from winter sonata) She knew Sunny from girls generation as a teen trainee before girls generation. After sugar broke up she did solo work for a bit, then completely disapeared. This was early days of hallyu, so she figured she will start a jpop career since it was a much bigger industry. She shaved her head and didnt speak korean. Few years ago, she moved back to korea and started to get on korean tv again. Her korean became completely fluent after all those years in japan.

My favorite Japanese kpop Idols are DKB’s Yuku, P1Harmony’s Soul, Treasure’s Haruto, Enhypen’s Niki, Lapillus’s Shana, Billlie’s Japanese line Tsuki and Haruna, Kep1er’s Japanese line Mashiro and Hikaru, and ILY:1’s Japanese line Ririka and Hana

Treasure's J-line is the strongest j-line in kpop!! my fav Yoshi, Mashiho, Asahi, Haruto. they singing, rap, dancing, acting, models, entertaining comedians😆‼

If only they showed Treasure's complete J-line lol. Also, Yoshi is Korean but will always be part of the J-line.
