@embrace the world, the goal is to take a deep root in people's lives. Another 20 years, and jollibee may have around 500 stores in the US. IF I WERE YOU, buy their stocks when and if they register in the MYSE
the #4 Mang Inasal that serves grilled/barbecue chicken is also actually owned by Jollibee, so 4 out of the top 5 fast foods in the Philippines are owned by Jollibee. Also if you are aware of Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, the coffee shop, Jollibee also purchased that.
Yes please do jollibee commercials.its not regular adds, they are speacial ocasions adds like valentines, mothers day, xmas, just like your super bowl commercials
I think Jollibee is the only fast food where you can really smell how good the chicken is. I remember one time wherein I can literally smell Jollibee chicken joy being cook as I walk towards the street where Jollibee is located. Just by the smell, you will really crave one and I found myself going in the store to buy a chicken joy.😅
I remember a time when both jollibee and mcdonald mascots battle dancing in the middle of the road every single time I saw either of them build a branch JUST a walk away or literally on the other side of the street. It was so hilarious and big speakers on both sides keeps playing music.
Hi guys, in case you start reactions with Jollibee ads, i suggest you start with CHOICE.. it got the most amazing twist. Lots of reactors were move to tears happily.😊
The company also is not only pure business but it also help working students doing part time jobs while studying, most of them were college students. The staff are very well trained, to always accomodate customers from all walks of life.
Jollibee has become a conglomerate of international food brands. That includes Smashburger and Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. Yes, Chowking, Red Ribbon, Mang Inasal, Greenwich are great restaurants with their unique offerings. I worked for Jollibee while in college, and I briefly worked WITH Jollibee North America for their expansion plans. Great business goals.
I'm not into sweets but Red Ribbon is a thing here as well. I do love chowking. My favorite from their menu is the Chicken Lauriat with Kangkong as a side dish and the Nai Cha (milk tea). As for Jolibee, I love their chickens, especially the spicy ones, and burgers. As for McDo (we usually shorten McDonald's and other things over here lol), I like their spicy chicken and ice cream.
In the 90's there was an Ad agency who made a documentary comparing Jollibee with McDonald's and why Jollibee clicked with the Filipino taste and palate. it was a well-produced documentary as it discussed the differences between Jolli yumburger and McDo burger.
So far, mc Donald in the Philippines is quite getting better, their chicken are becoming more like Jollibee in some way. But the price difference with Jollibee meal is a little bit more pricy. But Filipino love eating also with mc. Donald. It just that, more kids are fond with Jollibee, its make them more appealing. The Filipino style of meal in Jollibee is just simply delicious. Thats how they appreciate it more Jollibee than other business alike.
I think this is where it started with the commercials: Kwentong Jollibee Valentine's Series 2017: Vow Kwentong Jollibee Valentine's Series 2017: Date Kwentong Jollibee Valentine's Series 2017: Crush Please react if not yet done. Thank you, guys!
Yeah, I agree. I don’t think they have their sights specifically on “beating” McDonald’s. It’s just they want to successfully enter the international fast food market. It’s exciting seeing different nationalities enjoying the food we loved as kids having our birthday parties there. 😅
CHOWKING is mainly chinese food but they some pilipino-dish for sides, delicious. Personally, i love their chao fan (fried rice with optional toppings.) GREENWICH (pizza and more but they are popular for pizza).Red Ribbon (cakes and pastries)
Now since you react to jollibee then you should have to watch a series of the jollibee comercials.. it will take you to a whole roller coaster of emotion watching it for sure.. try it please❤
8:56 Chowking have Chinese foods (noodles, dimsums, pork and chicken), Greenwich is a pizza place (they have chicken and pasta, too), Red Ribbon sells variety of cakes
when it comes to spaghetti, my favorite is Popeye, when it comes to chicken Mang Inasal of course, when it comes to burger "Burger King of course, when it comes to sandwiches "Subway" of course...Jollibee/Mcdo?, very convenient and affordable, they're everywhere....
Hello no! Red Ribbon isn't 'donuts'! It's a bakeshop! Let me make you jealous; I live near a mall with a Jollibee in it and on the other side of my village there's another Jollibee in the same block!
I am an American retired in Cebu and I have eaten at all the places you showed. They are all great. Here in Cebu I can get a Bigmac meal with large fries and large coke for $6.13 delivered.
I love everything Filipino but personally I prefer McDonalds, this is the only time I would go foreign over local. The reason I love McDonalds so much is because of their Cheeseburger DeLuxe and Chicken Ala King. I love those 2 items. Those are my regulars.
I remember jollibee did a survey on the preferred taste. Though it was not mentioned what was the purpose of the survey. The survey was done in schools offices and on any person they met. I was i was in my office when i answered that survey. It was a thick set of questions about my preference on taste color texture food presentation quantity quality etc. They captured the pinoy choice.
There are 4 Jollibee locations here in Edmonton, Alberta… A McDonald actually delayed a construction in one location where Jollibee will be in the same strip mall as they are…. Yep, they lost regular costumers…
spaghetti of Jollibee is not so so sweet. It’s a balance taste for me. Perfect balance taste. My fav are spag and fried chicken, hot chocolate and macaroni soup. Super delicious. oh and sundae too. 😊
As far as I know, they're number two in the Philippines, with Jollibee at number one so I wouldn't say they're struggling. Jollibee has around TWICE the number of stores as McDonald's. Obviously, they'd definitely outsell Mickey D's. People keep saying Jollibee spaghetti is sweet. It's not sweet at all, not sugar-sweet. It's more savory-sweet, much like American barbecue. Avoid Chow King unless you're going to try Halo-halo. Chow King's food has deteriorated so much over the years that I keep wondering why people keep suggesting that brand to tourists. Greenwich Pizza is pretty good. They're much better than Domino's here in the Philippines, and have a lot more food items on their menu. Jollibee Chickenjoy and Max's Fried Chicken are the best examples of Filipino fried chicken. Max's is more of a casual dining place, though.
Not surprised at all,.but it made me surprised here in hongkong,.when first i came here only 2 Jollibee branches they have here,(2011)now it became 22 branches?!i wonder if how many branches of McDonalds are here,.😅.. i feel happy tho',.as finally our unique taste buds are being recognized and acknowledged now in a gud way,.thru Jollibee, 😀
Chowking is like pinoy take on chinese food since precolonial era there are chinese migrants here in the Philippines who does business that's why pinoy version of Chinese food is all over the Philippines thus the brand chowking and it's good for a fastfood chinese place. Greenwich pizza is like a more american style food with pinoy take on the taste it's fair not so good on the pizza but some pastas are good and some other things on the menu. RedRibbon is pastries like cakes and stuff personally I love it. Yes they're very big
At the restaurant in the Philippines they always served free cucumber juice or calamansi /lemon juice. They always CARE their customer's health by not cooking or serving unhealthy foods particularly in schools canteen they're very strict. You can not sell unhealthy foods with out permission, it must be healthy cookies, instant food etc.
I'm a retired military guy, and a Texan, living full time in the Philippines for many years. In our closest "large" town, there is are 3 Jollibee's, one McDonald's, one KFC, and on Shakey's. Sorry fellas, but the Jollibee chicken is FAR better than anywhere else! The McDonalds' serves chicken that is not close to being equal, but they have better burgers, which makes sense. The KFC is "ok", but not near as good as the one's in the States. Maybe due to ingredient changes. The Shakey's is also pretty goo. Not great, but not bad. Both Jollibee's and McDonald's have good, fresh fries. So, IF we do eat out for fast food, we will go to Jollibee's if we want good chicken. We'll go to McDonalds for burgers (NOT chicken). And we'll go to KFC for "ok" chicken, but great gravy! Shakey's, of course for pizza (free tea refills, and free coffee). We also eat at Chow King (which is really geared to fried rice, lumpia, siomai, and siopan, and it's good). As well as Grenwich Pizza, which is a past type place, serving pizza, lasagna, bread sticks, and such. I visit Red Ribbon quite often for great cakes, pastries, soft breads, and cookies, and they have a high standard! Considered one of the "class" places to get this stuff. All of these chains are owned by Jollibee!
Mcdo is undisputed goat when it comes to qsr because most qsr are based on to them and the taste of their food is already established as like that a western taste globally compare to other brand chains thats needed to adjust to it's foreign customers taste. If new Brand QSR will arise that can dethroned Mcdo it will be came from it's place originator U.S.
Majority of pilipinos like rlaruce ,if they dont have rice,.just like mang inasal they have unlimited ruce that why Jollibee and mang inasal are mist popular
even mcdonalds long but the chicken there is not good sp the skin its a lot of flour they put jolebee chicken is more yummy coz the skin is tasty crunchy and u can it all
Struggling? Dami nga branch sa Pinas..in fairness, pag nagsurvey sa icecream at fries, mcdo ako.. kng chicken sa ngaun 50/50 na. At sa gravy parang di na kagaya ng dati, or ako lng yun. Mas bet ko gravy ng mcdo. Pro sa spag at burger 100% jollibee ako.
I had a cousin btw he is Nomad travalers around the world he taste a lot of country food,Sound like Western food is kind off process food and not Authentic food you eat, unlike other nations Specifically in Asian,Are Authentic food.
I'm one of the few Filipinos (very few) who hate how my countrymen like putting sugar on everything, even soup and other food that's supposed to be spicy, savory, etc.
We have a law that 60% of the company must be owned by a filipino. To be successful, they enter into an established corporation and operate under their company. The revenues i dont have a clue about their contracts.
McDonald's in my county is dying because of Hesburger and there are a lot of other fast food option's that are 10x better, also Domino's opened near me during covid 19 and been trying to stay in business but with average pizza's and other stuff that is way overpriced like 30-40% more expensive then what you can get on every corner anywhere in the country but much better and much cheaper, probably opened for the real estate in good area where land is always increasing in price.
Don’t forget to mix your Jollibee spaghetti because the secret delicious spag is to mix just don’t directly eat without mixing with it’s sauce. Pinoys are fan of mixing their foods.
In Philippines they're eating unique foods from our farmers, since I've heard that MacDo is mixed with human meat with dark beef filing but never eat at MacDo, just toast.
saying mcdonalds is struggling in the ph is such a stretch. It's definitely one of the top fast food chains in the ph. I'd say top 3. A lot would consider it's still preferable than jollibee.
