Yes I know this video is wrong, I kinda rushed the research and scripting part and ended up making a lot of mistakes in this video (especially with the whole kocmoc thing). Please watch this video that corrects these mistakes before commenting anything about them here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TS6QGGQADKw.htmlsi=DxMQtruEU3ncyGBg

there are several mistakes but overall a good video, for example. Firework doesnt refer to “fireworks” like 4th of july, but rather working with fire and ash, hence the black and grey style of the level, Kocmoc is cosmos in russian, poocu is poo and cum and ofc the cubed part is true, neutra is the name of the six impalas OC who appears throughout their discography, lotus flower is the name of the radiohead song which the level uses. The golden of course, is green because it is jungle themed, as in finding “the golden” or “el dorado” hidden in the jungle.
2:21 El Dorado (Spanish for "the golden") is commonly associated with the legend of a gold city, kingdom, or empire. Originally, El Hombre Dorado ("The Golden Man") or El Rey Dorado ("The Golden King"), was the term used by the Spanish in the 16th century to describe a mythical tribal chief (zipa) or king of the Muisca people, an indigenous people of the Altiplano Cundiboyacense of Colombia, who as an initiation rite, covered himself with gold dust and submerged in Lake Guatavita.
0:58 this is cyrillic (russian), the k is equivalent to a hard c in english and the c is equivalent to a soft c (literally an s), so it is spelled correctly as космос
The MINUSDRY definition doesn’t explain it in enough detail, as “MINUS” was a term used in impossible levels, like MINUSCLUB. The term was likely coined by Iced Cave as he used to go by the name “Minus” at times. If you want more detail on the term itself, probably ask CDMusic why he named it MINUSDRY. The SWI definition is wrong because “Infinity” is a kind of a suffix used when remaking levels, and the level is of course based off of Sonic Wave. The Esfera definition is wrong, as it’s also based off of a Maple Story location of the same name. The NEUTRA definition is wrong, as the name “Neutra” is the name of a Hatsune Miku-like member of the band Six Impala (in the way that how both Neutra and Hatsune Miku are both vocal synths represented by a face) which made the song used in the level. You can see Neutras face placed at 21% and 50%, and the Six Impala logo at the end. The Promethean definition is completely wrong, it’s an adjective meaning “related to Prometheus”, Prometheus being a god of fire in Greek mythology. The Fragile definition is also wrong, with it being named after the song that the level uses of the same name. I’m not sure if the KOCMOC definition was intentional, but “Kocmoc” is actually just Russian for cosmos. The definitions for Saul Goodman and Walter White don’t explain why the names were used in the levels and just tells the description of the characters.
This. It irritates me how much of a good idea this video is yet the execution is pretty bad, looks like just a wiki explanation on what the name is. Without explaining how the name is related to the level at all
unfortunate how the level name wasnt explained on why it was picked or the connection with the level but just the explanation on the name but he did it on poo³ though
@@gamermoment5724 ah yes they could’ve explained why it’s called poocu, which is because it’s remake of acu, just “poo” at the start because toilet humor
@@G-Force7 well i mean there is a whole breaking bad trilogy + saul goodman, so he could’ve just explained that renn chose to name a series of levels after those characters.
The reason why NEUTRA was named that, despite it being a dentist-themed level, was because NEUTRA is the name of six impala’s (the artist group that made the song) vocalloid. The song in the level, “Lovelovelovelovelovelove”, is from six impala’s album “Wflytd”, a dentist-themed album.
I would like to mention that the NEUTRA the level is refering too is on of the members of Six Impala, the guys that made the song for the level. It's the face you see speaking at the the beginning of Aeon's verification.
3:29 It’s also named after Neutra, a member of six impala, who made the song. The dentistry stuff is a reference to their album WFLYTD, which has a dentistry themed cover.
zodiac is a synonym of the word sphere, which the name of the song zodiac uses neutra is one of the members of six impala, she made the song for NEUTRA
To be updated as I watch the video Acheron leads to not just the underworld, but also to Tartarus. Firework is named that way because it is the byproduct of Fire. Hence. Firework... not Fireworks. КОСМОС means 'COSMOS' in Russian. poocu means 'poo' and 'c u m' accourding to BtLisp.
If you ever go into the legacy list for this... as the creator of the level... make sure you dont say inanimate INSANITY is a reference to the object show of the same name... because it's not... It's the sequel to an old level of mine called inanimate object... I had no idea a show named inanimate insanity existed... I just wanted another word with the same first letter of inanimate for the title and I thought of insanity... and there's where I got the name... I know extremely disappointing... however I did make a spin off, battle of DREAMS... which does actually reference the show you're thinking about 👆 just wanted to clear things up just in case
I wanted to bring some corrections here : #4 - Slaughterhouse : The level is a remake of an old impossible level of the same name, made by Icedcave, who directed the creation of this remake. How it relates to the actual meaning of the word though is unclear. #5 - Kyouki: Yes, it means "insanity" in japanese. This may refer to the name of the song it uses, "Crazy" by Creo #9 - KOCMOC - Actually means "cosmos" in russian, and is pronounced just as in english. Also refers to the name of the song it uses, "KOCMOC" by Sleeping Hummingbird. The level itself is space themed. #15 - The Hallucination - Named after the eponymous song by Djjaner #16 - Edge of Destiny - Is a remake of the original unnerfed version of the 2017 extreme demon level "Blade of Justice" by Manix an LazerBlitz. The name follow the same kind of theme. The original idea for Blade of Justice was that it was about a sword fallen from the cosmos, able to pierce through and kill anything, hence the space-ish tech theme. #28 - Verdant Landscape : I think it is a remake of the 1.9 insane demon level "Windy Landscape" by OG player WOOGI1411, but green, hence the adjective "verdant". Nice interpretation of the name though. #36 - NEUTRA : Is actually the name of the vocaloid of music artist siximpala for their album "WFLYTD", which is dentist themed, and contains "LOVELOVELOVELOVELOVELOVE", the level's song (thx to @frostbvrn8976 for the info in the comment section). Your interpretation still fits. #39 - Thinking Space : This is a play on words about the song it uses, "Wander of Thought" by F-777. The level was meant to joke about the over-usage of move triggers and other 2.0 features in levels at the time the update came out. #42 - SUPERHATEMEWORLD : A redecoration of an old impossible 1.9 level of the same name. Agree on the edgy cringe name thingy. #43 - Fragile : A remake of extreme demon level "Kowareta", which is on the demon list actually. "Kowareta" means "broken" in japanese and fragile stuff breaks easily. #47 - Calculator Core : This is a extended remake of the 2.0 extreme demon "Artificial Ideology" by creator team TeamN2. I believe the initial name of the level or the codename before it was unveiled was "Calculator Core", which gave its name to this remake. Feel free to give any more suggestions P.S. : Sorry if this feels like a novel of some sort or this is too long, I just wanted to sort some things out with what was said in this video
Какие же люди бывают странные. После одного поста идут выписать человеку какой он плохой и что он даже не разобрался, хотя чам человек уже как 8 часов назад извинился за это.
Overall great video, yet I wanted to add a deeper meaning to the name "Sinister Silence". Other than being a random set of words, it is actually the name of a deity, an entity, in the musical project "Quiet World" released by Native Construct in 2015 (from which "The Spark of the Archon", the song of Sinister Silence, comes from). The album is the story of a mute man looking for any way to express himself inside of his own world, a world where he wouldn't be seen as odd, a world where he would be "god". Eventually, after coming to terms with his disability, this man ascends to divinity, but as an evil god rather than a right deity. His name is Sinister Silence, as he decided to be one with his incapacity to speak. Like announced by the name of the song it comes from, his enemy is "The Archon". Gotta love this album.
4:04 Calculator Core is an extended, superbuffed remake of Artificial Ideology, a level made by TeamN2 (the same team who made A Bizarre Phantasm and other iconic levels). The reason why the level is called Calculator Core is that, in the only preview this level had, it was called Calculator Core. I think the creators wanted to commemorate TeamN2's legacy.
Incorrect, evw is just being stupid at that one vid, sakupen is the name of the person who made the music "hell yes" which is later remixed by mr jazz man and renamed to iron god
good video, I actually learned a few things from it. my biggest issue is that a lot of these "explanations" just try to explain the name itself, rather than trying to explain the actual context behind why the name was chosen.
kocmoc is actually russian for cosmos but you cant use russian letters so they used the english letters that look like the russian letters sorry if my explaining is trash
3:30 So yes and no. Most of the time critical temperatures are high, but not necessarily. The critical temperature is the highest temp something can be a liquid. So for something like liquid nitrogen, the temperature is around -150 degrees C. Also “critical heat” doesn’t exist. Probably should’ve led with that.
0:55 Actually during building firework was meant to be blue and yellow or orange, but it was all bad so vernam (head of the team cherry) decided to make it black and white but the name was still the firework. After the preview vernam was explaining that the Firework means fire-work or very good work
You were actually able to make this video really funny while clearing up the meaning of names for these popular levels! Good video and very interesting 👍
4:05 Calculator Core is a buffed and extended version of Artificial Ideology, which was named Calculator Core before its name changed to Artificial Ideology.
the creator of superhateworld made the level as cancerous and unplayable as possible to make the player bate him as much as possible, hence the name SUPER HATE ME WORLD
@@B1ufyre I understand you . If you do not know what a word is, from some language that you do not know, this is not a reason for insults. Of course, I will leave the part with KOCMOC, but after that I will put a pinned comment about this situation from this video in my video (So that no one thinks about you or me anything :)
0:57 actually KOCMOC is cyrillic КОСМОС because letters are same, and writing like this was invented in early 00-s in the counter strike because you couldn't write in cyrillic in cs (for example: XeDWoTep, HaGubaTop, K P A C U B O and the others)
MINUS refers to certain impossible levels. It came from MINUS world (2015) (named after the world - glitch from super mario bros) and was later used in MINUSclub by xVOLUMNIUS. LIMBO doesn't represent what's found in Dante's Inferno, but the general idea of purgatory. Edge of Destiny is a rename of blade of justice ([sharp object] of [abstract idea]), the level it's based off of. The Zodiac that the level refers to is the Roman Zodiac, which is based off of 12 constilations found in the sky 12 different months of the year (Ares, Tauros, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Saggitarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces). The zodiac is also used in astrological (not to be confused with astronomical) prediction systems such as the horoscope. Terminal Rampancy means the rampancy is deadly/uncurable; could refer to the chaotic movements and difficulty of the level. SuperHateMeWorld is actually a ROM hack for Super Mario World which is as edgy as it sounds. There are no spaces so it can fit 20 characters. Fragile was actually what kowareta was called before being called "kowareta" and after being called "Gumi" Renevant is actually a nonsense word due to a spelling error. "Revanant" is the word meaning undead. Calculator Core is actually what the codename for Artificial Ideology was when being built by TeamN2 (what this level is based on). Other people probably explained the rest, and there's also some inconsistency of explainations as "fragile" is explained, and the much more niche term "cold sweat" isn't. 🤓 Other than that, pretty solid video.
Neutra is a member of six impala, those being KaTT, Underscores, Helvetican, SCRIPT, and NEUTRA (I love them so much go listen please I beg of you) and the song it uses in is in an album which part of the story has to do with teeth, not exactly dentists but the story is super vague so its understandable! Edit: KaTT helped with the color scheme of the level aswell!
Although there's a good few errors like others have pointed out, I learned quite a few things that I didn't know, and I'm excited to see the next installment! Good and original video 👍 (for the next one, maybe find a few people to look over your script haha)
Super cool vid, though I would want to add another detail. The reason why MindCap named his level LIMBO was because it was a memory demon so hard that even top players while playing practice runs feels like playing the game for the first time again, as it can take hours to complete just one run, and until finished, the player will be, well, stuck in LIMBO. quote from gmdblue
