So the Indiana Pacers have a bit of an issue at SF, there have been rumors about Paul George and OG Anunoby, but in this video we'll talk about the Indiana Pacers and what I think will happen with the SF position and what I was hoping they would do at the SF position.

2 years ago, Kevin Pritchard said in order to get to the top, a small market team's cap room isn't the same as the Lakers. He knows we'll have to overpay for everything. Buchanan said 2 weeks ago that if there's a guy out there that makes us better, the owner will be behind the price. I think we'll be aggressive this summer.

This is why I enjoy the NFL more. The Colts and other midwestern teams don't really have to worry about being a small market. NFL players dont really care as long as they are getting paid what they think they're worth.

@@justinwilson9848yeah no doubt. I guarantee they sign absolutely no one else. Knowing them they will lose Obi for paying Pascal's bum azz. Pascal is one of the worst defenders in the league with a 119.4 DR. Obi and Hali have better DR at 118.4 lol. He shoots about 48% FG and 32% from 3, 70% FT shooter. Yeah let's pay him a max.

@warlockmagic3416 I don't know if I agree that pascal is a bum but is it the best long term route idk he is gonna take a huge amount of cap space and no he really isn't great on the defensive side of it not sure if I even love signing obi long term and I like them both but if we can't get anyone else does it make sense

I might start dropping some videos, we don't get enough love and need a new voice that's actually a Pacers fan. A lot of new content coming out of nowhere about the Pacers from fans of other teams it's a lil bandwagonish to me. Ppl see us trending up and tryna get clout or something, idk but I don't like it.

He is both although it makes sense that he play the three because they already have four good frontcourt players ahead of him. There is more opportunity for him to be Nesmith's backup. For this season, he should be. Jarace may overtake Aaron by his third season.

Pacers won’t have the cap to sign OG. Also Jalen smith is on a player option and it’s likely he opts in because he won’t get more anywhere else.

I'm not convinced Mathurin's defense is good enough to replace Nesmith in the starting lineup. The effort hasn't been there. It is of particular concern that Mathurin could have had such an easy path into the starting lineup when Hield was still on the team and the defensive bar was on the ground or even buried underground, yet we saw other players put in the defensive effort and move up while Mathurin still looks a bit lost and disinterested much of the time on the defensive end. I'd still have Mathurin as my top scorer off the bench.

All I’ll say is… OG has been rumored to suit up for us since early 2023 when the infamous whisper into tyrese’s ear post a raptors loss on the road. He clearly likes tyrese. He has won a ring with Pascal. He probably respects what we do. I think OG is the piece we need to make the ECF again… and maybe even win there

A bottleneck of talent at the guard. A healthy 00 is dangerous at any spot. I hope hollywood stuntmen are teaching him how to land after multiple mid-air open hand attacks as he goes in to finish at the rim time after time only to get up noticing the ref is avoiding eye contact. Pass on OG, is there a stat showing the amount/time of injuries sustained on championship seasons.. what % of success is dependent on health? Spicy P. has been a blessing for Myles Lego and I hope to see Oscar out there cleaning the glass wearing the blue and gold. Go Pacers!

To be fair to Nesmith, they don't have to do anything at small forward. He is fine. He was more than serviceable, especially considering his contract. He guarded Brunson and Giannis better than any other player on the roster as he is their most versatile defender. They dont have any cap space, realistically, so the best option is to find another capable rotation player in the draft to back him up. I'd love to see Mathurin learn from Nesmith. Aaron has put in the work to become a dog.

Nembhard is good but his size even at the 2 leaves a lot to be desired....Nembhard is a 6th man can come in for the 1 or 2 but not a starter in my opinion. Pacers need some size at the WING but Nembhard at the 2 is a No for me....

We already fkd up by over signing a glorified role player.. Stats don't lie and that DR of 119.4 has been even worse over past years. He doesn't even get one block a game. Misses almost 60% of his shots from 10 feet, or directly under the rim.. only takes at most 3 3's if any at all and might make one at most.. can be a 60 to 70 % FT, is terrible on the offensive glass. Only averaging 1 to 2 at most.. and his other 4 or 5 are defensive. He gets out muscled and shut down by guys like Heartinstein, who I'd much rather had for 17 to 20 mil a year.. Who we really needed more than anyone else outside a SF, who i could have signed 2 of, plus Heartinstein, or Drummond and Miles Bridges, or a DeRozan, Naji Marshall, Kelly Oubre Jr., or Caleb Martin. All those SF's having a 113. DR, Oubre has a 114. DR. Can all be had for about 8 mil. Smdh

Siakam shot 38% from 3 with us........what are you even talking about?
@warlockmagic3416
@warlockmagic3416 10 дней назад
@@fastbreakreportearlier in the season he was shooting 32%. I get the Raptors suck and their spacing. But I'm pretty sure that's his average. With his average being that low, that's what his most true accuracy from 3 is. While his career avg of FG is around 48% but I think he was around 54% this year. Not saying he can't have a better year and raise those numbers. But it's only speaking the fact on why he always has more misses than makes every game. I wouldn't mind it as much if he had some game's in between where he would only miss a few shots and make most. He just doesn't and it's frustrating. If we're paying him that much he has to be better with consistency. Then being a Small Ball C.. Idk why they'd want to pay an undersized guy that's not a threat offensively. Everyone stays in man coverage on him. He never draws doubles and that's problematic. Because Ty needs a Star that can help get him and his other teammates open as well when teams would normally collapse their D around the best Star players. They just make him shoot over them. I think he can help us a lot, I think he actually played really good against the Celtics this playoffs. First time I was actually liking what I saw from him. My problem isn't as much as Pascal, as it is the money we "have" to pay him.. Sucks because even if he left 8 to 10 mil and pushed his money on the backend. We could get Naji and Oubre for 8 mil. Martin might be closer to 10.. If we could have gotten Drummond on a contract for about 7ish. That would be awesome, because dude is looking to make a statement. He wants to get back to his previous playing.. and in Detroit he used to abuse Turner down low and I guarantee he has a great year this year. We need that rebounding and low post D. Just going with Jackson isn't gonna cut it. Maybe they sign a player, then draft a SF and C idk..

@@warlockmagic3416 I feel like you're just trying to find something wrong with him when you haven't been watching him play....the dude is a 2x All-NBA talent and will make another All-NBA team playing for us....Everything I've read tells me you don't watch him play at all....the guy that you seem to think isn't worth bringing back is the only reason we made the playoffs as the 6th seed this past year....Also.....literally every player has more misses than makes you can't make more shots than misses....it's literally impossible....unless you shoot 100% every game which as I said is impossible...

@@warlockmagic3416you cherry pick stats like crazy. Plus your stats are wrong. Why would we look at career numbers when he originally came out as a relatively raw prospect. We are talking about him now so use his number for NOW. Also defensive rating is not a stat that shows a players individual defensive performance. It’s more reflective of the team defense. If you go by that stat then haliburton is also a better defender than nembhard, when truly nembhard is arguably the best defender on our team. Your arguments are extremely flawed
