The siskin is a small finch, the male is yellow with a black crown, the female has much less yellow and no black on its crown.
They love niger seeds (although they also like peanuts) and although I've never seen them bathing they do come regularly for a drink. Because they eat seeds which contain very little moisture finches need to drink frequently.
In flight you will see its yellow wing bars and the v-notch in its tail.
They use to live mainly in Scotland and Ireland but have gradually moved south.
These two were filmed at 100 frames a second which gives a little more footage as they don't hang around long, it also makes the water look nice!
