If you are a medical student choosing a specialty for residency training, consider urology. Urologists do a variety of surgeries, but here I discuss briefly some options for benign enlargement of the prostate. This is part of a presentation along with Northwell Health office of DEI to inspire URM medical students to consider entering the specialty of urology. It is important that we represent the communities we serve.
