This is not UM, but a unit derived from UM called QUADRATUM. If you like this, please search for "quadratum". While "Eruption" is popular, "Far Beyond The Sun" and "The Dance of Eternity" are very prominent.
racer x? or tracer x? dunno the original name but that violin cover by jill is also fire, well quadratum or ankimo everything concerning them is high level and fun to listen to
I recommend the live version they did of Erruption with Dream Theater's The Dance Of Eternity right behind it that they did live during one of their concerts (video: 【Live Cover】Eruption(Van Halen) ~ The Dance of Eternity(Dream Theater)). Like others have said, this is not fully Unlucky Morpheus, but a subunit called Quadratum that didn't feature both vocalists, they released 1 album with a bunch of covers but they played a couple of them live during Unlucky Morpheus sets as well. The tracklist for the cover CD of Quadratum: 1. Far Beyond The Sun (by Yngwie Malmsteen) 2. The Dance Of Eternity (by Dream Theater) 3. Into The Arena (by The Michael Schenker Group) 4. Hundreds Of Thousands (by Tony MacAlpine) 5. Scarified (by Racer X) 6. Eruption (by Van Halen) 7. For The Love Of God (by Steve Vai) 8. Technical Difficulties (by Racer X) 9. 17th Century Chicken Pickin' (by Impellitteri)
She gradusted at the top of her class from theTokyo University of the Arts and won the Doseikai Award when she graduated. She not only is a member of Unlucky Morpheus, but also has played classical music with a chamber group. She is awesome!!!
Thanks for returning to UM/Quadratum again. Jill is one of my favorite musicians; she's such a brilliant talent. Jill was part of a trio a few years ago that did a few video game covers, most notably a fantastic cover of "Bloody Tears" from Castlevania. It has over six million views in the five years it's been released. Here's the link. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5_Q1rXhHL6g.html
I WAS HOPING JOEL WOULD PLAY MY FAVORITE, "FAR FROM THE SUN". SHE DOES THE YNGVIE MALMSTEEN SONG WITH QUADRATUM, LIKE HERE. SHE ALSO HAS A VIDEO BY HERSELF IN A SMALLHOME PRACTICE STUDIO. IT IS LIKE A "ONE TAKE" MV. AMAZING TO SEE HER FACE AND FINGERS UP CLOSE.
To me though, I think her best cover is "for the love of god" from Steve Vai. The song is already in itself beutiful (and I'm not really a Steve Vai fan) but damn she makes it sooo good. Anyway, Thanks to still going strong sharing those musical moments.
