@@Kim_Jong_Un-01do they not teach about this anymore? I actually had required reading about the Japanese internment camp called Manzanar and we toured it. This era in history MUST be taught in order for us never to repeat it
I’ve now seen both Hiroshima and Najasaki Bombing survivor’s stories. I’ve almost cried on both of them, they both were at a young age imagine how nice their life without this. I hope something like this never happens, again.
Without that, Japan would’ve been still with the Nazis, I do feel bad for the civilians but every Japanese soldier deserved what happened, after what they did to us.
@@drewdawson9250 what did they do you? They've just destroyed US naval base in Hawaii, that's it. But US generals instead of fighting with Japanese army dropped a nuclear bomb on peaceful Nagasaki. Shame on you!!
@@Alan-of3en sensitive, we had to send a message, and also, they killed thousands of soldiers that were at the time, on their side. Do you not remember we had an alliance with Japan?? They attacked us for no reason at all.
A bleeding head due to small glass shards being embedded in it and the other two being apparently uninjured is a miracle. People right by the detonation zone would've been vaporized. Many others would've burned to death or even had their skin melt off, which are agonizing ways to die. Yet more would have burn injuries, internal injuries, blindness etc. The Yamashita's are exceptionally fortunate to have lived through that horror. Nukes should not exist. Nuclear energy should be used as an alternative power source and nothing more.
I watched a documentary about Hiroshima. Everyone having 3rd degree burns, many people having skin peeling off the flesh, a woman holding a carbonized baby in her arms, A guy holding his eyeball in his hands... Like the lady had said in that documentary: "If there is a hell, that was it."
@@AlyssaBrown117 Late comment I know, but the devastation from those incidents most likely wouldnt have happened if instead of all the money put into war we put it into structure, energy, and safety measures.
complete video! where i can find the complete interview? .... i find that its hard to find complete interviews of survivors of the atomic bombs... or at least in google
@@mnadhifirfanghani7c738 not everyone on Pearl Harbor was a soldier, most cooks and people like janitors were civs, also they started the war, we would have dropped the bomb if not for Pearl Harbor
You’re trolling right? Then is used in regards to time or sequence, THAN is used in comparison to something or someone. Yes he speaks English well, better THAN you lol.
Holy cow. I can only think of the Linkin Park song Hands Held High, "When the rich wage war its the poor who die." My grandmother always said, when your time is up its up.. this man is living proof of that.
The power of the human brain to be able to create such.... It's like if there truly was an omnipotent being who created everything just decided to make man with as much power as him...
@@ifarted2656 it was actually Japan that started the whole thing, they murdered many soldiers which lead the US to do it. Still neither sides are good causes.
Where I feel for these people having their lives changed, millions of lives were changed by that war around the world. The Japanese tortured and mutilated millions from China, Korea to the Philippines. Ask any of those still alive if they believe what happened in Hiroshima was justified.
what the japanese imperial army did to millions of people was horrific and unforgivable, but that still does not justify the bombing of hundreds of thousands of innocent japanese civilians. most of the victims were women and children who had no part in the atrocities committed by the government and the army.
@@rahulrana4844 I don't want to escape from my home. russians have to escape from here. When a thief or vagabond gets into your house who of you should get out of it?
We learned not to use nukes in actual warfare. Not a single nuke has been dropped on a populated area since 1945. Today they're mainly deterrents, to prevent other countries from using nukes. As long as the USA and Russia both have nukes, the other will be too scared to use ever them.
WE NEED TO STOP WAR RIGHT NOW! WE NEED TO COME TOGETHER AS HUMANS TO PROGRESS. We cannot continue fighting other humans when we can come together as one. God bless EVERYONE.
Wheels X18 War is something that will continuously happen until the end of the human race. Not everyone seeks the same world you do, so it’s an unavoidable truth. War is human nature.
It was unnecessary, Japanese surrendered long before and then arrogant America wants to test their nuclear weapons first time in real condition. It was not needed at all it was for their fun experiment.
When are we going to get an investigation into the UN's role in eugenics/poisoning via vaccination, gun running, human trafficking, child prostitution, and the black market organ trade?
He's lucky enough to live and grow old. How about the babies thrown in air and stabbed with bayonets. The families they gutted. They most likely didn't have a chance to beg for their lives too. It's hard to feel sorry.
He was also a child at the time. Many more died of radiation poisoning. A child cannot be held responsible for atrocities committed by the soldiers of the nation they were born in.
Why couldn’t japan just swallow its pride and surrender, like this wouldn’t have happened if japan would have swallowed their pride. rip, for everyone in Hiroshima
Never surrendering and never giving up was something that was ingrained into Japanese culture for centuries. I definitely do not condone use of nukes. Moreso when civilians are in the death toll. I just don't know how else it could have gone.
@@jam5533 Maybe. Maybe not. I really don't have a definite answer. Like I said in my prior comment, Japan would have been more likely to keep fighting.
@@madeleinewilson8829 The Japanese killed 27 millions of Chinese civilians who also did nothing, during WW2. That's 135 times more than the highest estimates of deaths during the dropping of the nuclear bombs at Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
