After seeing Ben on your instagram, it was nice to hear him speaking! :) I think there are a lot of people who are similar in that they grew up not knowing about Autism, and after being diagnosed as adults, suddenly whole aspects of their lives come in to greater context. Since my library is in a school, I get to work with a lot of students on various points of the Autistic spectrum, and it's so true there's no one-size-fits-all approach. Thanks for making this! :)

I've just subscribed to your channel because of Virginia's Monks House tour video. From Chile I love your accent, although I'm struggling a bit to understand. Nice videos😊

Thank you for sharing this! As a camp counselor many years ago, I was taught to say "the child with autism" instead of "the autistic child" and I've been wondering about the connotations ever since. It was nice (and eye opening) to understand it from your point of view.

Wow! Now I'm impressed! Growing up in a small town before social networks and being autistic is sometimes really difficult. I think videos like this really help people not feel alone. Thanks.

Thanks for this! I've never really had a solid understanding of what autism is and how it effects people differently, even though I do have an autistic friend. Really educational :)

I'm Autistic myself and only until recently I was finally correctly diagnosed as an adult with it, in 2016. Its something thats been in my life and referred to. Its an extremely tough time from day to day life. This is a brilliant video, it means a lot how you're using your platform to help spread awareness. I've written a book called Eat Your Keyboard and since have started a career as a published author- which really was myself trying to capture something akin to being in an autistic persons mind, also writing has saved me, emotionally binds me. Writing is my life. It keeps me grounded. I am an experimental writer, and my work is extremely satirical, Transgressive and manic. EYK is in the vein of William S. Burroughs and J.G Ballard. If you're interested in a copy get hold of me and I'd happily send you a free copy. Again, been watching your videos for a while, yet am awful with remembering hitting that subscription button. But, I have now. Again this video truly made me happy. Autism isn't understood and it is about labelling and categorising- it can become an extremely scary reality and the stigma attached stopped myself from getting the diagnosis from a young age. I'm proud to be autistic now. And I'm very happy you guys did this video explaining it and exploring it.

When you were talking about not being able to get your 'smile' up was so funny :') I'm one of those people who thinks we are all autistic in some ways, and we are all on the spectrum, never mind how little or how big. This was a really great, informative video and any excuse to see you both is just lovely ❤
