🖋 Sense and Sensibility. So many people have told me they didn't like it at first. When I was young reading it I related to the sisters losing a parent and trying really hard to carry on and finding security and love. I think the love story everyone misses in the novel is the sisters honestly. Its just special to me. Pride and Prejudice is up there as is Persuasion 😊.
I'm new 👑. Been binging your videos for about a week. I can always find content on manga which is a passion of mine, but its rare to find good content on classics and history...my other passion lol. Agatha Christie is AMAZING. Classic horror is my jam. Im also an Austen junkie. This year I'm reading Steinbeck and finally tackling Mansfield Park which, to me, has to be her most difficult book 😵.
I can still remember how I felt after moving to York from London just over 25 years ago - still doesn't feel that long to be honest - and the actual thrill of being able to walk from my house into the City centre. Hope you will both be very happy back in York.
