nope, my vision is very good. only person in my family who doesnt wear glasses LOL! weird but my question to you is why dont you dye your hair black instead of the funky colors you choose?
My mum through years of neglect from our health care service and uncontrolled diabetis (again not her fault) has now been given the term legal blind. It makes me so sad and so angry because this could of been avoided!
Technically: 1:10 20/20 means reading 0.9 cm letters at 20 feet. These are 5 minute of arc letters. The is checking for 1 minute of arc resolution. 20/200 means reading 9.0 cm letters at 20 feet. This is an excellent presentation. As a pilot I am very careful to check to pass these requirements. The FAA, for Private Pilot license, requires that I exceed the 20/40 line, or better. As always, you helping your children avoid entry into myopia by Atropine (while still 20/20) and keeping their eyes at 18 inch or more, from their work, is the only successful solution possible - in my opinion. I'm a health care technician in an eye hospital in the UK and I also have juvenile wet macular degeneration in my left eye. I'm very excited for our hospital to start AMD treatment and wishing I'd taken treatment when it was offered to me 13 years ago! I deal with constant distortion when looking through both eyes and have visual acuity in my affected eye of 6/120 or 20/200 in the US, I only managed to get that by using mostly my peripheral vision and not my central as I can't see with my central vision alone. Otherwise my acuity would be perception of light and that would be about it. I'm 35 and terrified of losing my remaining eye!
Hi! I was hoping you could do a video on I-bright surgery for melanin discoloration of the sclera? I have brown spots on the whites of my eyes and it gives my eyes a dull appearance. I can't seem to find a ton of videos/research on this and would love a professionals take. Is it safe? Are there alternatives? Does the cut donor area grow new film/sclera?
I know from experience based on the problems that I have in my eyes, I feel like I'm going to go blind. I have glaucoma in both eyes, cataracts in both eyes, I have damage done to both of my eyes due to taking the prescription Elmiron, and I have type 2 diabetes. I also have lazy eyes but I'm going in for eye muscle surgery on September 25th so hopefully that'll completely fix my lazy eye problem.
@@DrRupaWong Thank you so much for being so caring. My lazy left eye began back when I was 12 years old, I'm 54 years old now. My glaucoma began in both eyes in 2010. I found out that I had cataracts in both eyes in December 2022 and to make matters worse I also found out that I had damage on both eyes that came from taking the prescription Elmiron over the course of 10+ years for a bladder problem called, interstitial cystitis. My eye specialist took me off of the Elmiron immediately! There's no cure for the damage that the Elmiron did to me. But in December 2022 I got a law group involved to help me with a lawsuit against the maker of Elmiron. I found out that I have type 2 diabetes in January this year. Meanwhile, on September 25th this month I'll be having eye muscle surgery on both eyes even though I thought my left eye was the only one with the muscle problem. The surgeon said that autually my right eye has that muscle problem as well. But i was still confused because my right eye doesn't turn outwards. I go in for my pre-Op this monday the 18th! Hi, I've been diagnosed with Optic Neuritis roughly about a year now in my left eye which I haven't recovered my vision since steroid treatments. Would I be deemed legally blind?
