My physical address was fine and my UEI went from being in the queue for a CAGE code. Then it kicked me off the list because they said there’s something wrong with my physical address. Yet, they don’t tell you exactly what’s wrong. I’m so confused because it was fine, then not.

Use your home address as the business, this isn’t illegal nor is it frowned upon, and perfectly legit!

Hi, thank you for all the info you share! Soo I reached out to a business to get a quote on a bulk order and they told me that they were bidding on the same contract and could not give me a quote. This was after I spoke briefly to them on the phone and they requested that I send an email for my inquiry. What would be the best way to go about this in the future so it doesn't happen again?

It’s obvious you gave them too much information and they probably used it to skip you as the middle man. Next time do not give them the bulk of the information and ask them to sign a contract with you to but in the most part doing products without experience or money upfront is way out of your league for starters.

Next time just ask for the quote. Don’t tell them that you are bidding on a government contract and need a quote. Sounds like may have created competition or maybe they were already bidding on it and that’s just how it worked out. Don’t give up

I’m having the same issue, with my registration in an email they send the specifically ask me if I was using a virtual address along with a lot of different other questions another one being of the other business had any affiliation to my company or if there was a name change. I wonder if I do a DBA & use my home address would that work instead 🤷🏾‍♂️

You can fix this just by calling the FedHelp desk
