How did Jesus treat his own mother? Matthew 12 : 46 - 50 (NIV) _While Jesus was still talking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside, wanting to speak to him. Someone told him, “Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to you.”_ _He replied to him, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?” Pointing to his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers. For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.”_
Jesus makes a point, which is what Matthew was interested in. How would you make that point so it is remembered? It says nothing about how Jesus treated His mother in that passage.
I find it perplexing that there were no true references to scripture. I wish there were references to scripture. Please provide scripture for reference and further studying.
