I'm a bit late in finding this video but Thank you so much for helping those of us who still have functioning NuTone systems in our homes. It perfectly explains why I stopped being able to hear when someone in another room was responding. It was driving me insane!

Hi Shark0115: If you can't pull the Volume Knobs off from the front - You'll have to remove the Stations from the wall and use a flat blade screwdriver to push them off from the back - Chris
@@northsideservicecompany3567 The unit is off the wall and all other buttons are off. Will try and use a flat head for more leverage to get the knob off. Thanks
Hi Cartman: The major manufacturers stop making innovated designs in the mid 2000's - This lead to a decreased interest in hard-wired system. Mobil phones and texting also had an effect of the desirability for these types of systems. NuTone specifically said that there was too little interest to generate enough sales - in my opinion that was simply an excuse they used to justify not spending the money and time it takes to design new systems. The single largest market for new systems is homes with existing systems. - Chris

@@bigsebby3799 Most NuTone Systems will work for the first 25-30 years - after that, age related problems will begin to occur. All models can be rebuilt and then you should get another 25-30 years from it - Chris
