I’m an Evertonian and can tell you Dobbin has a lot of potential, he does need to improve his strength as he can be a bit timid in challenges at times but he has plenty of pace and likes to run with the ball, Yas have a good signing and I’m sure Villa can get the best out of him. Good luck and all the best :).
Ah mate that’s grand to hear! Worried he won’t get the playing time he may warrant, maybe a loan to a newly promoted club will help him on his way? You’ve got a gem in Iroegbunam too btw!
Evertonian here. Dobbin definitely has good potential. Probably the quickest player at Everton. Likes to cut in and shoot more than cross. As with many young players his decision making lets him down. But probably said the same thing about Anthony Gordon. Should thrive in a team that attacks more, but not a player that Everton (a luxury player) need at this current time
Oh really? The fan I spoke to did mention he was quick but not the quickest, very interesting! Yeah being right footed on the left I assumed that would be his game, his cross accuracy is worrying though! Will be good to see how he develops! Same with Tim with you, he’s really good 🤝
@@LetsTalkVilla Hard to know if he’s exactly the quickest over 100m (a toss up between him, DCL and Ben Godfrey. But definitely the quickest over 20-30m
TI may actually get and take a chance at Everton but on the whole, both players could have gone to clubs that would accelerate their careers. Instead, they're rushed out the door to comply with rules that claim to protect football clubs with the method seemingly destroying young footballers. A cohort of clubs are now spending money, buying players they otherwise wouldn't in order to he able to spend more money. I won't complain about us signing Dobin, in the same way I wouldn't complain about a big mac. Quality isn't the aim. It's a means to an end. It's just stupid that in today's football you have to trade big macs before you're allowed to buy a steak.
Neither deserve a man city yet but they could become that, both everton and villa are good clubs, everton takeover new stadium and ffp might be getting ended .. how is that not looking good?
I think he will defo get a chance, a great player and they will almost certainly be loosing Onana this summer, it’s a great signing for the toffee’s! I respect Tim for taking that chance 🦁 Hopefully Dobbin comes good too, I’ve seen good and bad things about him but overall he’s 21 and a raw talent and if anyone is going to be able to get the best out of him it’s Emery’ just look at Rogers 👀
"One does actually exist!"....Cheeky bustard!.... There's MORE OF US THAN YOU THINK!...💙...the record attendance for an Everton match was over 78, 000......(more than any match Villa have played in front of!)...💙
Ahh he hurt your feelings 😂🤣 78k... probably half given away for free, to give you scallies a nice day out before the government cut the sick benifits most people in the city are on 😁
It was a cheeky comment, I agree. Your record attendance of 78,000 was against Liverpool, so probably quite alot of Reds there too. The Dobbin/Iroegbunam deal is solely a way of getting round FFP. You sell a player for 20m, get all the money as a credit for FFP then sign a player from yje same club for 20m on a 5 year deal so basically he's costing you 4m a year. You loan them out then sell them on in a year or 2.
Hahahaahah don’t worry it was meant as a joke, I know many Everton fans, one of the last few proper traditional clubs like Villa and I always wish you guys the best, the Cazoo title race that lasted 5 games was the best 🤣❤️
