@@LunaVespertine Screens vary VASTLY in specific colour display. Colours on my TV, computer monitor, laptop, tablet and phone all display differently. If something was red, it's going to be red across the board, but the brightness and undertones will look different.
As a man that loves photography, and once sold cosmetics & instructed women on how to use them, I must say you do your makeup so much better than most all woman. Your look highlights your features and make you look healthy & vibrant.
also, molly I thought mauve was dusty pink too even though i'm sighted. i had to look it up and i guess they're right!? i never know how to pronounce it either, I guess it's just not my color.
Hi Molly, your mom is absolutely lovely! I wanted to note that because of your coloring (dark hair, light skin) you are able to wear both warm and cool tones. I am Irish as well (but raised in the US) and I also have dark hair, light skin and eyes. I've found that most people would tell me I should stick with cool tones but because of my love of makeup and experimenting with different looks, that I am able to wear both and both are flattering. Especially having blue eyes, orange toned browns/coppers really bring out my eye color. Don't be afraid to try new things! Love you, Gorgeous!

I agree, but then I thought about it, and I realised that there could also the possibility where we’re perceiving it differently because of the registration of colours through the camera and lightning, versus real-life lighting and colour perception!

oh my goodness. I went blind in my early teens and my mother would help me go through make up through the years. We would bust out laughing because it seemed like she was always saying things were sort of a mauve color. Lipsticks or nail polishes. Seems like they were always mauve or pinky purple. LOL. You and your mom are great.

I have to say this is one of my favorite makeup looks I've seen you in. Would have loved if you could have mentioned in this video which colours you had on now! By the way, your cheeks look amazing! Beautiful bronze/contour and that's such a nice wet looking highlight, nice and fine and not chunky at all. I do agree that cool tone shadows probably shit you better
