Number 1 - Ouro Boros Number 2 - It's a great sign of growth. Its also a show that Loki has grown. As Kang says when Loki leaves in their "frozen time" chat, "Round and around and around we go" and while the title of the episode matching with the finale suggests that, the truth is that Loki in episode 1 believes he has glorious purpose to rule everything, in the finale he learns its a burden. He bestows and wields bcs its his purpose, and its glorious, but only for everyone else.

(SPOILERS) At the start of season one, Loki wanted to sit on a throne and have others serve him. By the end of season 2 he no longer wanted to be on a throne and didn't want to be alone, but (SPOILERS) ended up sitting on a throne, alone, but HE now was serving others.

Alot of the fans don't seem to understand that Marvel will tell this stories (movies/TV series) & not ALL of them are going to be EPIC - Same as the comicbook series. THIS series WAS that EPIC story those fans were waiting for - great story telling, entertaining, epic character development & closure for said character. Tom Hiddleston did a phenomenal job in this series as he had with the character over the years - his performance was commendable . 👏👏👏 I hope this satisfies those fans.

Absolutely phenomenal series (both, but 2 was better,) and Loki may now have had the best story arc in the MCU. The writing, directing, set design, sound design, production, and the acting were ALL top notch.

It’s one of those things where the first line mirrors the last. But with a different meaning. Loki didn’t know his purpose but wanted one, in the end he found it but it became a burden

I think the best part of this show is understand that this isn’t dark world or ragnorok Loki. This isn’t infinity war Loki. This is the Loki that just lost to the avengers. The Loki fresh from the idea that it was his birth right to rule earth. So that growth was always destined to happen in him. It was always there.

And he comes down to earth, in Gold ans fine green clothing, but when he transforms at the end of season 2, his horns are of stone, not Gold, his cloths are torn and worn, but still helt toghether, the obly thing that stayed majestic, was his Mantel, later replaced with the roots of yggdrasil, for he is burgund with glorious purpose

I can see Tom Hiddleston put in so much passion and love for Loki as a character while portraying him. I cannot say the same for most of the other actors. It's so rare to see an actor so imbued in the source material... I can maybe think of Henry Cavill as The Witcher as another example

Its funny for the longest time loki wished for the throne but throughout his series he realized that he didn't want a throne anymore. However even more time passes and he realizes that he truly is burdened with glorious purpose and he Finally sits as a king of the MCU Its jarring to see how much his character has changed
