@@le9038 uh what. Youre not gonna believe this, but as a western democracy and the fourth wealthiest country in the world germany does indeed have freedom of opinion. also satire is basically half of public tv mate, google the following: Die Heute Show, Die Anstalt, ZDF Magazin Royale, Bosetti Late Night, and thats just the relatively big ones i can think of off the top of my head. cause you know, free market media. private channels, newspapers, everything everyone else has too.
So we don't end the day with the pledge, that's how we start the day. We end the day with the Anthem as there is a major sports game on every single day of the week.
@@ledzeppelin1212 this one did take me by surprise but is funny, like it somehow does make sense to be in this video, despite nobody really imagining it I suppose They captured something with it that I find difficult to explain, maybe not even the crawl itself, but the casual conversation that ensues..really sells it. Of course if it was totally opposite and the guy freaked and pulled freedom from his holster - it would also go
This is my exact day. God bless America. You did forget about me carrying all my guns to work and teaching my 4 year old how to tactical shoot… other than that, spot on.
You forgot having to go to work 24/7, and if you miss an hour of work due to illness, you lose your job and your house gets foreclosed on and become homeless
My husband is an European illustrator. He illustrate beautiful books. The most famous one is "El libro rojo de las niñas", where all the characters are naked, because they belong to a futuristic tribe, beautiful. Nothing obscene, nothing sexual, just natural real bodies (remember we all have one). And the funny part is that it can not be sold in the US. He was asked to put shorts on them!!!! And you can imagine the answer. So funny!!! THere is an issue in the US with nakedness and sexuality. But then the movies are very explicit. So still I don't get where the limit is.
I am not sure how futuristic that is since a lot of tribal peoples were/are straight up nudists. Most people just don't want someone's greasy ass touching the park bench much less touching them "accidentally". Maybe they are "Okay"with it in some fantasy future fiction.
With all the sex and sexuality Americans are exposed to and have access to, we remain the most sexually repressed country in the West. Might be part of the reason we have so much violence.
The Catholic Churches here are overall the same in the US as Europe, the same likely applies to the mainstream Protestant and Eastern Orthodox Churches. You're thinking too much about the Evangelical and Burned District Churches, like the Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses.
It still is fairly Christian, all states have a large quantities of them, specially the evangelical churches, the other denominations are dying out, the South is super evangelical so they're the most Christian, like super duper. Of course, other than the South, in percentage people barely go to church, but a big enough percentage go to maintain it alive.
The United States is only religious in more rural areas. Most of the people living in large cities lack religious people. They might believe in something but it's not important to their lives.
Also cuts down on the laundry. Which cuts down on energy usage. Which helps the planet. So i think that's where that might be coming from. Just a guess.
It's also not a part of Christianity and babies can literally die from it....and have in the u.s. Unless your a Muslim or a Jew. Leave your precious innocent baby boys alone.
The nude scenes thing is so true. How could you be so mentality dishonest as to have major issues with seeing nudity, but it's ok to watch violent forms of media though?
This is so true! I was hanging out with my gf family once, watching a crazy violent movie... nothing, sudden sex scene appears and her mom grabbed the control and fast forward it!!!! Bear in mind the youngest person was 31, hahaha.
I have found out about you the last month. i do not know if you realize it takes special skill to be funny and sharp at the same time. you make simple videos which cut to the bone!
@@iiiiilllllllll asking the real questions. some of the time that is permanent leave! also insurance does not pay because it's considered a self induced problem.
I really dont like this. If anyone I dont know is randomly super friendly to me I get suspicious and check my surroundings for pockets thiefs or organ collectors
This is awesome, I had a great laugh! You guys picked up a lot of stereotypes that exist and blew them up so much that I have to laugh about myself (partially) believing these.
You forgot the part where the wife divorces him and take his house and kids and gets child support and alimony. He worked 70 hours a week, but was a “loser” who couldn’t provide for his family. The ex-wife continues going to church and calling herself a Christian after divorcing him.
This is pretty much exactly how I expect all Americans to live, just missing taking the car to get from your doorstep to your neighbours house instead of walking 30 sec
Living on the West Coast of the United States, I can confirm that this video is not true. Cannot speak for the middle part though. The United States is a very big place, and there are many different types of people and lifestyles.
As an American, I pretty much wear shoes unless I'm sleeping. Which is probably more than most Americans. I knew in Asian cultures they took shoes off inside, but is this a thing everywhere else also ??
@@hp5469 i live in belgium, the majority of the population takes their shoes off inside the house, it's widespread practise here but not everyone does it
@@hp5469 basically everyone takes off their shoes at home but western europe and usa. It is unspoken rule. You would be considered crazy for not doing that. Indeed most of countries are in asian and middle eastern region but they are also a majority of the world.
@hp5469 everyone takes his shoes off in Europe. We walk around with those shoes. The shoes get dirty. We dont want to spread dirt in every room. Also it is better for your foot health to walk around barefoot or in socks
Urinetown is a great musical that exists because the writer was angry (dare I say pissed) that bathrooms are not free in Europe. The plot involves someone who doesn’t pay for the restroom and is sent to a place called Urinetown… which is later revealed to be a euphemism for death 🤣
They got the words wrong: I pledge allegiance to the flag ... ... One country, composed of a lot of different nations, some that joined involuntarily, (Hawaiins for example) under a Puritanical subversion of God indivisible with liberty for all whose income is in the top 10% and justice for all who can afford expensive lawyers, servitude, housing insecurity, and food insecurity for everyone else.
As an atheist who lives in a Christian country , I never understood why Christian Americans think that circumcision is necessary. I understand why the Muslims and the Jews follow this practice, it's in their religion and culture. But in my country not even one Christian man has been circumcised from a young age. It is only done when it is considered medically necessary due to infections (which btw very rarely occur). I don't get how the Americans developed this weird mentality..
Which parts? I haven’t experienced any of this. There were no crazy blue hairs yelling about pronouns, tatted single moms, and there were no reporters waiting eagerly in an office for a year at a time for a white person to shoot a black person. We have problems, just not the way euros think we do.
