Hey, did you know that the first lady on the video wearing green pinstripe shirt with white pants is Linda Fargo she is Senior Vice President for Bergdorf Goodman Dept. store... that is soooo cool you got to filmed her. She was on the documentary film called IRIS, (as in Iris Apfel the legendary fashionista thru the core).
Mine too... imagine having pieces from the 60s, & vintage necklace, then rocking it with fabulous hair, lips & sunglasses in "older years". Beauty never fades, just transforms ❤
I love when people are wearing pieces that belong to family members. How when a woman was wearing? A. Piece? From her mother that belonged to her uncle and she ended up with it I love that
I love that you are highlighting many mature women. As we age, it becomes increasingly harder to put forth the effort to do our hair, keep our weight down, stay style current while at the same time not looking too young, and to continue positive when our bodies are under going major changes. These women are truly beautiful. Thank you for recognizing and show casing their beauty. ❤😊
New subscriber here. I just discovered your channel. I love the fact that you are including women of all ages and backgrounds. Older women are not invisible, but they are ignored by most people who cover fashion and beauty. These women, young and older, are so inspirational!
Many people have left New York. It's not the city that it used to be in the 80s, 90s or 00s. Miami, Florida seems to be one of the main places those people have re-located to recently.
Yes, many times only very young women are interviewed speaking about the v. expensive clothing they are wearing & I'm wondering how they can pay for it, but that's just me, I guess.
I enjoyed this video! I love 💕 how you just know your brands/materials of the handbags and jewelry. The lady with the pink top and the matching Kelly handbag bag, with the neutral pants and the matching Hermès Chypre sandals, and the first lady with the striped green top are my most favorites. Thanks for sharing.🥰
Another great video.. loved the first lady and the lady in the denim dress...and the lady in yellow(effortless style). TOO MANY TO NAME..But the mother daughter duo...OMG I THOUGHT THEY WERE SISTERS!
Believe me! This is not a put down at all, but to me it seems that most of these ladies are a walking bilboard for the same designer brands. I really failed to see anything really STUNNING, except for the mature woman with the vintage Chanel bag and glasses and the lovely hair. I guess it's because they are in NYC that these women are wearing their "Luxury brands " or they are in the fashion industry?? Either way, to me it looks like they are all wearing the same uniform of Hermes, and Chanel. There's not a lot of originality in these outfits for the most part.
No offense to anyone, but all those items look like they could come from a thrift store or TJ Maxx. Most of the hair looks like bedhead.. The haircut she was complimenting was so unoriginal and basic. And the way people did NOT have their purse straps over their shoulders looked frumpy and unsophisticated IMHO. Only the woman in white with the vintage Chanel bag looked at all chic IMHO. Good taste costs no more, and these women paid a lot to look dowdy.
I agree! Dripping with Cartier, Tiffany, hermes, rolex...and zara is their "low"...girl! Zara is my high, thrift or Walmart is my "low" haha...I'm from New Zealand though, and most of us are poor here!
Yuck. These videos are all about brands. The higher end the designer is the more she oohs and ahhs. Try talking more about style inspirations and less about where everything is "from"
The Gabriela Hearst dress was gorgeous - very elegant lady wearing all the highest quality items but not feeling a need to flash the now ubiquitous Hermes bags, Van Cleef Ahambra, etc.
So much money to walking around in New York. I’m going for a holiday in the future and always wondered if it was safe to wear my jewellery and bags…obviously is!
so much fun your videos are! I hate the ads I am not allowed to skip because of my age, they are always mentioning cancer. This word repeated over and over upsets me. I will let an ad run to support your channel but please consider getting rid of the ads that won't let you skip them
I thrifted a striped wrap dress a few years ago that I could very easily recreate that look….was going to donate it back but now I am going to give it a second life.
This should not be called what EVERYONE is wearing in whatever city. It should be named what the rich people are wearing... nothing wrong if you can afford it but a more accurate name..:)
