Just got a 2022 LT Equinox it’s amazing. Upgraded from A Chevy Cruze maybe that’s why I love it. Super smooth ride, great interior and all 4 windows came tinted.
U gotta really good deal im in cali my credit is not too good with tax and everything like down payment and everything over 5 years of payment my end cost is 34k
Just traded in my 2014 LT for a 2022 Premier. The 2014 was trouble free with 130k at trade. Oil consumption started at about 85000 miles. I just checked it the 1st of every month. Nothing so excessive. I also changed me oil changes to 4000 mikes from 7500
I have the 18 Equinox base and I've enjoyed it every time I drive it. I think within the first year or two I had the odd thing. But was corrected and haven't had issues since. Personally I think it also depends on how you drive any vehicle and take care of it. Those factors can also down the road cause issues.
I bought a 2022 equinox in September 2022. I live in Fairbanks Alaska. First off I will say I really liked this car. And, if you live I lived in a warm climate, I would still have bought this vehicle. This was a great vehicle until it got cold (5 to -0 type cold). Then all hell broke loose. I got a series of engine codes that kept popping up. The first was turbo underboost, then a mass air flow code, turbo intercooler freeze up, battery low voltage code. Come to find out there was a technical bulletin Chevy published that is supposed to correct some of these problems--my dealer did not mention that. It got a point where I couldn't trust this car to get me to work in -30 degree weather. I traded it in on Saturday for a Subaru Forrester. Third one I own--the only reason I didn't buy one to start with is they were 6 months out. I guess there's a lot of people who like Subaru's. If you a
I chose a Subaru Forester over the Equinox this time around because I liked the seat better and I trust their quality a little more right now. So far I love the Subaru.
I have an expensive 2018 2.0T and after 11,000 miles, the engine died on me. Covered under powertrain and dealer wants to rebuild only. What a joke. Here I loved and enjoyed this car for 4 years. All of a sudden while warming, the engine was making a puting noise. Took it to dealer, engine gone. I guess all new cars are a risk, what a disgrace. 😶
The 2.0 turbo LTG which is much like the LNF can handle a ton modifications before it blows up the 1.5 and 1.9 have a tendency to blow up and GM still uses them
First of all if you order one you will wait at least 6 to 8 months because it is built in Mexico and they are in no hurry to ship them to the usa I've been waiting 6 months now and my dealership said they put a hot tag on it but the factory has been down sense early March
I have a 2021 LT. It's a comfortable enough cruiser that's affordable. Suspension/tire combo soak up bad roads nicely. It's not sporty, but don't need it to be. The 2nd row is roomy for adults to sit comfortably. Space in the rear is also good. Can take a Costco trip worth of stuff home. Even has a little trunk under the rear floor. Interior materials are OK but nothing great. Bad things, with 4500 miles on it, been getting a shift flare between 1/2 and 2/3 shifts. Not consistent though and I'll have the dealer look at it. Also can't disable auto start/stop without using the L6 trick or leaving the ac on so the engine won't cut off. Touch screen is quick enough (basic screen, not the better one). Android auto works great. Has a little glitchiness to it at time connecting to the phone via USB, but not sure if that's a phone or car issue. But that's about it. With any direct injected engine, be sure to clean the back of your intake valves and pcv valves every 30k miles as regular maintenance and the engine reliability will be fine. Toyota does DI with port injection so theirs doesn't need this. My 2 cents on the 2021.
They discontinued it in 2021 because no one was buying them. Also I kinda understand why if you look up Euro5 emissions got so strict that some bike companies like Honda had to discontinue their cbr600rr and bmw had to change their B series engines to be less peaky so that it would pass emissions. Even the 2022 civic si lost hp so did the Subaru wrx it gained only 3hp because of emissions. The veloster N maybe next....
If you are the type that trades cars in every 4 years than you can get this, but if you like to hang on to your vehicles long term, stay away from Equinox. There is a reason they lowered the warranty and now have the worst warranty in the industry.
Dear followers!! Don't let the beautiful pictures confuse you . Anyone who buys a new car from GENERAL Motors the chance you threw your money into the trash is very large. In this company there is no customer service, the company's management does not care at all, if you have a problem or a malfunction, you can only pray to God there is a chance that the help will come faster. GM is a very dangerous company, be careful and keep your money safe.!!!👎👎👎👎👎😬👎😬👎👎Share so more people don't get screwed.GM is a big bluf
