So many items have crossed the line from under £1 to over £1… and just gone up and up and up.. I can think of dozens and dozens of daily grocery items which have gone up by 30/40%.. it’s unbearable

Just remember mortgage and rent costs are never included in official inflation figures. For young people the difference between 2014 and 2024 is more like 60%

Let's never forget that this is the party that led us to Brexit. They never seem to mention the effect that this had on our cost of living. A convenient ommission in everything they have blamed over the last four years.
