Thanks for the comment and feedback James. This setting was great for us to meet Spike but we knew it was only a 10 or 15 minute window of time and we wouldn't be able to get super specific. At the end of the day, Spike didn't duck any of our questions. He was gracious and gave us a signed poster. Probably a day we will always remember.

As a filmmaker in the industry for over 20 years, the biggest problem with teaching anything about film is no attention givin to explain financing a film. NEVER spend your own money. Nor family's money! You need to find investors, and this clown skips right through that, and without funding you aint makin sht.

I guess Do The Right Thing ( voted top 100 greatest films of all time) and my personal favorite. Along with Malcolm X, Mo Better Blues, and who can forget He Got Game! Jesus Shuttlesworth! Are all junk? Are you serious dude! Junk? Really?! Wow. Go check out Inside Man with Clive and Denzel,another good movie by Spike.

Some people such as the original poster probably can't "relate" to his messages (which is crazy) so the films are junk in his opinion. You know "those" type of people.......If you get my drift lol.
