The difference (in section width - not 'tread' width) between a 225 and a 245 is a mere 20mm, which is a little over 3/4" (0.787"), or a measly 3/8" on each side of the tire. The difference in HEIGHT between the three sizes mentioned in this video is 28.51" for the OEM 225/65R17 - - 29.54" for the upsized 245/65R17 - - and 30.50" for the 245/70R17. If you want a noticeable difference in the appearance of your tires, I would respectfully suggest that you look into purchasing a set of 265/65R17. Yes, the 40mm difference only equates to a mere 1.57" - but it is a LOT better (in my opinion) than upsizing to only a '245'. Math-wise, the 265/65R17's are 30.56", so they're only 0.06" taller than the 245/70R17's, which were suggested in this video. Did your 33's fit on your stock wheels? I really want 33x12.50s but i'm wondering if it will fit the stock wheel, not really wanting to do wheels.

I have a 23 OBX with the 18" upgraded wheels. OEM tires 255/70 18. Does anyone know if I can run 285/75 18 on this as is from the factory? Or the largest tire I can run without modification?

We would consider the 285/75-18 as an aggressive fit which may require some minor rubbing and trimming.
