I have been eating a healthy home cooked meals and really avoid foods that are processed or from fast food chain. Yet I am not still conceived. I have women who are not really eating healthy foods as much as I am, yet they conceived naturally. I also shift to a toxin free products since ttc (been ttc for almost 3 years) I tried embryo freezing, even though i shift to a healthier lifestyle, yet 3 eggs were only harvest, and 1 embryo was freezed. I am so confused.

Diet is not the only thing that affects your chance with conceiving. Exercise or maybe too much. Your health and your partners health along with genetic testing.Sperm and egg quality and vaginal assessment. Remember everyone is different. Try not to compare your journey with someone else’s, sending you baby dust, 🥰

Dr.S could you please do a video on petite women carrying babies! All my friends keep saying since I’m so skinny and tiny I’m going to need a c-section. Then my husband is saying I’m gonna have so many issues with pregnancy because I have scoliosis.

What about caffeine? Most coffee that you get outside the home these days seems to be espresso based and is over 200mg per cup, even the organic ones. :-(

Most studies say one cup with 200-250 mg or less per day is ok

Thank you so much! I have a question: how about decaf coffee? It is really processed/ full of chemicals, or is it ok? Trying to keep my caffeine consumption down

Great question - I talk about this in my caffeine video. Look for decaf processing with water (not chemicals)

I’m confused… why do people continue to talk about artificial trans fats as if they are rampant in the food supply when actually, “FDA has taken steps to remove artificial trans fats in processed foods. In 2015, FDA determined that PHOs, the major source of artificial trans fat in the food supply, are no longer “Generally Recognized as Safe,” or GRAS. For the majority of uses of PHOs, June 18, 2018, remains the date after which manufacturers cannot add PHOs to foods. However, to allow for an orderly transition in the marketplace, FDA is allowing more time for products produced prior to June 18, 2018 to work their way through distribution. FDA is extending the compliance date for these foods to January 1, 2020.” Even considering the extension, this was banned over 2 years ago!
