For the ones that fear that it will be pay to win, it will not be, they follow warframes monetization practices, meaning that Kyros will have slight better stats ( like a 5 % X better stat ) and u mostly get a fancy skin for bragging rights
150 USD is kind of steep, tbh. If Wingrave was the heroic character choice instead of Kyros, I'd be more inclined to buy it. But it's good to know that his heroic variant will eventually come. I went with the base pack, but might go for the initiate pack soon. I just like the sound of the "original" title better than "wayfounder".
That's how I felt about Warframe, and look how that turned out. Whatever you feel about Warframe, it not only saved DE but allowed them to thrive because of what it became.
Well no because there is no pvp and everyone can grind for the same things. Having slightly better stats isn't the difference. Also every other heroic character will be free. So its no like he is the only one.
So far, only Heroic Kyros has marginally better stats than his original counterpart and he's the only one you can pay for with real money that will give you a very slight edge against a base Kyros. If you think such a tiny difference in power will be enough to "win" then sure, it's pay to win. But that's like comparing Excalibur Prime to regular Excalibur. EP is slightly better, on paper, but the regular version performs just as well and can clear whatever mission or content the prime version can. EP really only wins in the fashion department, since it looks somewhat better than regular Excalibur. In hindsight, most players don't even use Excalibur or any of his variants since there are much better frames in the game. If Wayfinder will be anything like Warframe, I suspect that people will pretty much sideline Kyros when other Wayfinders are released.
no you can get kyros for free. heroic kyros is a mini upgraded version of him. you dont have to get that one for kyros. its literally just a stat increase.

you can get every wayfinder for free. The üack just offers a unique skin. in my experience founder skins are NEVER worth the money, because most of the time, better skins will be published in the future
@@senectarius9685basically this. If Wayfinder ever becomes as successful as Warframe, in the future, Heroic Kyros will be literally an afterthought in comparison to other characters you can get for free. They might even have a better-looking skin.
