Although the M1 Garand is very popular in gaming, it is often misinterpreted by game developers. In this video we will explain how to operate this infamous battle rifle, as well as compare it directly with its in-game counterparts.
@@theemptyprod.1360 So I just checked (I haven't watched Post Scriptum's gameplay for a long time), and sadly it's still too unreal. I hope you didn't mean it's more realistic "than Rising Storm", cuz...it's not. The shape of the rear sight is correct - thank god it's not like a "finger ring" anymore like what's in mainstream shooters and some hardcore ones like Hell Let Loose (smh) - but the front sight is WAY TOO SMALL (or rear sight being way too big) - a common scene. If the front sight can't exactly fit in the rear sight, it's fake. It's fiction. And Rising Storm did this right, though that makes the gun a pain in the rear to shoot. So I understand why games don't like the real thing, but I just can't figure out why RS is the only hardcore one that cared about this.

I'm so sad you said this. 😞 Cuz Rising Storm 2's M1 is a compromise. It's worse than Rising Storm's M1, mainly the sights. Go compare the two then you'll find Rising Storm has the only realist M1 sights in all shooters. It's not hyperbole. I've been on a mission of finding a second shooter that has real M1 sights, and I still haven't succeed.
