Since I was I think in my early teens when I read that Enoch walked with God and God took him, it took my breath away and I knew I wanted to walk with God and have that relationship. Not necessarily to be taken, but it was the implied intimacy with God that I wanted. But I look back at my life till now and I know my life has not been like that. I definitely hope to change that.
I recently came to the same place in scripture and wondered about Enoch but also about Elijah and I asked God point blank, why did you take them (Translated them)? Job was also considered a perfect man and God let Satan do everything to him but take his life and I didn’t find out yet but I saw your video and I knew That God wants me to know! I had read this chapter for the first time and when I finished I thought, well what was the point of that? (Other than just recording family lineages for record) I loved this video, I thought it was broken down perfectly. You are reading about 'TWO Different Creations ! One where there are two different Geneologies ! Each Geneology had children by similar names, but in a close but different order. The first was when the Earth had lush vegetation and animals 'before' man was created. The second, was when the Earth was barren and without vegetation. The first, The animals on the ark were 7 of each kind, sent to Noah to be saved from the flood. The second, God had Noah collect 2 of each animal. Go on from there... There are at least 2 Creation Stories. Edited to add: The first did not have two trees. The second did. This fact is important. Enoch is Cains son, but Cain is not mentioned in the second Creation. Enoch is mentioned in both. Enoch went with God, in the first. Where did Enoch go, when he "went with God ? Now...ask she the names are similar and in a different but close order.

Yes every man is born dead since Adam's sin. But Cain "went out from the presence of God", Scripture doesn't say that of Seth. There are clear lines of demarcation. Cain went out, and took his seed with him. Out from Seth came those who called themselves by the name of the LORD(called upon the name of the LORD)
Wow I'm blown away by how Enoch was chosen by God Adam and Kane's bloodline was death I just stood out to me because it was very interesting that we can also be a descendant of Adam's bloodline because of all the destruction and stuff that we're doing we don't have to be like that we can be on a different bloodline and be good and go and be with Jesus

idk if i learned anything it was very confusing reading gen 5 so i wanted someone elses opinion and i still dont know, it seems to be mostly in some sort of allegorical numerological pattern, so for the over arching message i think numerology is what would be required, but for tips id say speak slower and learn numerology or use it more for divinity and decrement
Adam lived 930 years. God had said he would die within the day that he sinned. Other studies elsewhere consider the Jubilee time periods of 49 years and surmise that the the mention of a 1000 years being to God as a day etc. is a generalisation and probably should be thought of as 20 x 49 (Jubilee time periods) = 980 (a non-decimalised millenial day?). Interesting then that 980 - 49 = 931, just a year different to Adam's life span (the 1 year might be accounted for with further study of Jubilees which celebrate the 50th year being also the first year of the next Jubilee period and whether creation/birth starts at 1). So did Adam die one Jubilee period short of a millennial day? And might that final remaining Jubilee figure elsewhere in God's prophetic plan? Does Genesis 6 - the 120 years of 'Man' mean 120 x 49 (Jubilees) = 5880 and represent the 6 days of Man before the Messiah's millennial reign? Just a thought to spur on more study. Blessings to all!
Mankind is spirit, soul and body. Adam was created with a spirit that was alive, in God’s image. When man sinned he became body, soul and a dead spirit that is then passed down until one is born-again by the Spirit of God. That’s why after Adam…made after his own likeness. The sinful nature is then past down through all mankind. Just wondering??
Or, if I may, Mankind is a clay vessel of ground, capable of taking in seed. This ground then reacts to that seed based on soil type, care, exposure, pruning, etc. Gods original creation in Adam was a husbandman or gardener meant to care for Eden. When Adam fell we understand the ground became cursed growing thorns and thistles. Adam would have to labor to combat this. Without Gods breath of life (seed) we are not His planting. We are merely dirt vessels capable of carrying that seed. Our vessels will return to the ground where they came but the seed will reproduce and be harvested by the Father!
So you're not really in God's image anymore once you're in the fallen image of Adam but you reconcile with Christ to return to God's image a child of God

The days before the flood are like Israel in the desert. Noah lead out of the flood, and Joshua lead Israel out of the desert. Enoch was the guiding light, ( sort of ) in bringing God to forefront, like Moses to the Jews. There is nothing new under the sun, that witch was, will be. There are many verses in the new testament, where Christ, with out saying the name Enoch, yet reference s him. Like, Christ telling the priest, " do you not know the word? Angels neither merry, or are given in marriage. The only place this is found is in the book of Enoch. Remember, if every word spoken of Christ, where written there wouldn't be enough book's to hold them. Saying if you haven't read Enoch, or others like it, your missing out
Absolutely. Enoch 15:1-7. Jesus said it. Only 2 men never died and were taken by God. Why would we not read about one of them. God also made sure we got his word in time for the end times in the Dead Sea Scrolls. God is talking to us. Are we listening?
This makes man false gods when they are in the corrupted image of God for God is not corrupt in true form thus he must make you righteous to the covering of Christ for you to be his child and carry his seed that is the the word of God

It's because sin corrupted the image and therefore the physical image is pretty close to correct and so is the spiritual one but they are both slightly corrupt what you see DNA is corrupt and that is the flesh you can't trust that isn't always right but it is right a lot of the times in people that function well. You reconcile with Christ to get back in the spiritual image of God and this would slowly cause the physical to follow either in yourself or your seed that you carry

But this thing doesn't f****** know which one I mean when I do that s*** sometimes and sometimes it does. Saying the word, or period often can be confusing because it might write the word out or it might put the f******, or... The image bearer line is bs 7:51. No one bore Gods express image until Jesus lived his perfect life here as a man for us. I say again, nobody was in the likeness of God until his son Jesus Christ showed us how. The gospel bears witness that the bad news must come first.
Actually, on this point, he is correct to a degree. He was reading straight from the Bible. It literally says that (Adam was created in the image and likeness of God. Word for word. In Genesis 5:1 it says in the verse that God created man in the "likeness" of God. Likeness - to be alike or to resemble So what does it mean to be like or resemble God?(Psalm 17:15) So from this verse we can see that in order to be in the likeness of God, or you can say in order to resemble God, you have to be righteous. What is righteousness? (1John3:7-8) So we can see that righteousness is right doing. Well what does it mean to do right? (Psalm 119:172) So we can see that the commandments of God are righteousness. But there is one problem. (Romans 3:9-12) So then how can we obtain righteousness? (Romans 5:18-21) 2 Corinthians 3:18 Notice the verse says "beholding ". To behold is to do more than just glance or look at something.To behold is to be captivated. When you behold something, you see it with your eyes, but you also hold your gaze on it in order to search and to understand. So we can be made righteous through beholding Jesus Christ, thus being changed into Christ likeness and image. In (Genesis 5:1)when God created man in his (likeness) he created them in righteousness. Notice in (Genesis 5:3) there is now a second image and a second likeness listed, which is that of Adam. So we have the image and likeness of God, and the image and likeness of Adam. Now what does it mean to be in the image and likeness of Adam? Notice that Adam's image and likeness is only mentioned after he sinned, and we know that in order to have God's image and likeness we must be righteous, which would mean that the image of Adam is unrighteousness. Well, if righteousness is right doing, then the opposite to doing right is wrong doing, or unrighteousness, and what is unrighteousness, (James 4:17) So here we see that unrighteousness is sin. (Ezekiel 28:14-15) (1 John 3:8) Here we can see that sin existed before Adam was created, because sin originated from the Devil. 1 John 3:10 So here we can see that to be born in the image and likeness of Adam, is really to be born in the image and likeness of Satan. Which is why Christ says this. (John 3:3-8) He have to be born again. (This puts us back in the image and likeness of God.)
