When my husband was dying of ALS, the day before he died, I was sitting next to him and holding his left hand, since his right hand and both legs were without any muscle tone. He could only sit in the recliner. He squeezed my hand and whispered, Thank You and I love you. It made me cry and still does. I still cry now whenever I tell this story.
@@marymiche Oh Mary, your story makes me cry too. I’m so sorry for your loss. I hope you and your beloved husband find one another again. I believe that is possible. Much love to you. - Emily ♥️
Dear Emily, don't worry. Our Quaker community gathered around us during Andrew's transition to the other side. We are very blessed to have one of those deep and abiding holy relationships. We both live in Christ's presence, so there is no separation. I do look forward to graduating from this planet and being back Home with Andrew, but not until my work with children is completed.
@@marymiche So wonderful you have spiritual community. What a blessing. I understand completely and believe you will meet Andrew again. I’m banking on that with my husband as well. ♥️🙏 - Emily
Thank you my Angel ❤Thank you for reading this to me ❤ I am dyslexic and I listen to books to learn and I been searching a few days for a Angel to relay the right message to my heart ❤️. I was told during meditation a few days ago to listen to coarse of miracles. I been listening to the book but the voice didn't touch me like yours.❤
Solsburry Hill by Peter Gabriel- Climbing up on Solsbury Hill I could see the city light Wind was blowing, time stood still Eagle flew out of the night He was something to observe Came in close, I heard a voice Standing, stretching every nerve I had to listen, had no choice I did not believe the information Just had to trust imagination My heart going "Boom-boom-boom" "Son, " he said "Grab your things, I've come to take you home" Hey, back home To keep in silence I resigned My friends would think I was a nut Turning water into wine Open doors would soon be shut So I went from day to day Though my life was in a rut 'Til I thought of what I'd say Which connection I should cut I was feeling part of the scenery I walked right out of the machinery My heart going "Boom-boom-boom" "Hey, " he said "Grab your things, I've come to take you home" Hey, back home When illusion spin her net I'm never where I wanna be And liberty, she pirouette When I think that I am free Watched by empty silhouettes Who close their eyes but still can see No one taught them etiquette I will show another me Today I don't need a replacement I'll tell them what the smile on my face meant My heart going "Boom-boom-boom" "Hey, " I said "You can keep my things, they've come to take me home" Thank you Peter Those of us who ARE blessed enough to hear Him directly, MUST share what we hear, to keep the Peace
The happy dream before awakening ❤… when we allow ourselves to be healed in every way … it will undoubtedly make awakening easier ❤ if the son cherishes a bad illusion .. awakening will be very difficult ❤ i remember church saying not to expect healing in every area of life. You are a beautiful example of a person who is awakening while in a good illusion ❤
my lesson yesterday was 221, so as I was lying in bed listening to Robert introduce Emily's sermon and read the prayer from lesson 221, I was struck. Thx for another sermon 💛
@@elizabethpiela7389 The person left a series of comments leading to the punchline that God calls everyone to be Catholic. We don’t believe that is true but, moreover, we wouldn’t go to a podcast called “Exploring Catholicism” and tell them and their listeners that God calls everyone to be A Course in Miracles students. Our comment policy here is complete curtesy. We don’t mind genuine questions but we don’t engage in online debate. So that’s why the comments were removed. - Emily ♥️
As I recall from my early 'religion' lessons in a Catholic school in a country dominated and sometimes brutalized by the Catholic church(attack thought) we were given the 3 divine persons thing lecture. Very few if any understood it then and very few understand it today. I wish that the whole 'God', 'Jesus', 'Holy Spirit' thing could be left aside and those of us so inclined can just agree on a Higher Power and be done with it. I mean when we acknowledge the workings of a higher entity do we say " oh that came from Jesus" as opposed to God? The course or those teaching the course talk of making room for the Holy Spirit to change our thinking....they don't talk of making room for God or Jesus to change our thinking.
@@Returntolove123 We teach calling upon God and Jesus in addition to the Holy Spirit. In the end, when you call upon one you’re calling upon them all but God is ultimately Who is changing our thinking.
