Love Ryan! Great keeper. As a Brighton fan I was sad to see him leave and a bit shocked myself. But Sanchez has done well and I understand the decision as it has made the team better in my opinion. That being said maty seems like a great guy and is a great talent I wish all the best with were he ends up, whether that be at arsenal or abroad. Thanks for everything maty!

Mat ryan is a fantastic goalkeeper, so glad he is at arsenal, he did not deserve to be dropped at BHA

@@deansmith8399 bahaha. Arteta is a good coach, whilst arsenal have not had a good pl season so far, there has been arsenal brilliance. Arsenal however did win the fa cup and still are known as one of the top 6 teams, we have had a number of injuries too. So get your facts right, BHA are lower than Arsenal. Also next time spell ARTETA RIGHT. Btw, mat ryan will get better with Leno being one of the worlds best keepers. Plus the facilities at arsenal are great too

caleb wood he’s better what Brighton has no I can’t remember but when we played against him I think we beat them 5.2 haha an why he chose assenal I don’t no 😂 under pe teacher pal why be back up to a mid table team ??

@Ryan Gosling that’s just not true. One google search would disprove this. There was 5 keepers in the 19/20 season in the epl with lower save percentages. Also, he played for Brighton which have poor defense. Use your head lad

As a lifelong Brighton fan of nearly 40 years having seen the ups and downs of the club I'd like to say Thank you to Mat for his service to the club and how well he has played for us. However, a lot of the comments are correct here that his height had become an issue in not commanding his area and us conceding too many goals from corners and free kicks. Also with the way GP likes to play out from the back his distribution was poor. No doubt he was a good shot stopper but I also think Sanchez just ticks more boxes and has been at the club a very long time waiting his chance.. Good luck Mat and up the Albion!

For the Aussies that can’t understand why Ryan was dropped (socceroo goges on). - one of the worst save percentages in the league - Brighton had two better keepers - No point keeping Ryan on the wage bill to continue being 3rd choice - Ryan is unfortunately just too short to be a top class PL keeper.
