Yup, me too. Saw that clean shaven young man filming the new stadium as it progressed and immediately subscribed. Still haven’t seen inside personally, my last UK visit was June 2019 so just a walk around the outside and some pics. Ali has since become my go to guy for Spurs news, excellent reporting. One slight personal peeve, I preferred the shorter 20/30 minute videos rather than the hour plus but I’m nitpicking. Great job Ali.

U know what good luck to dele. I have so much respect for the lad I really wish he was still at spurs. I would give him a free years deal with us. Many young talents have signed for spurs like bale and Walker but one that lives up in my spurs life is dele. He was a young hot shot but his whole image and spurs career sits well with me. Thanks Ali for another very informative update. Many Years ago the club used to do a members day for Junior spurs, where young members got to meet the players and attend coachning session given by some players. Have fond memories of Espen Baardsen carrying my youngest son from the coachng sessions to meet the players. Both my boys went to several, met Loads of players and got loads of autographs and many happy and found memories. This was a while back, think the last one they went to was aroudn 2002, these events used to be held at the Tesco Sports Ground in Cheshunt.

Good news for Troy Parrot and Dele Alli as for Gray playing RB I was kind of hoping he'd be replacing Bissouma not back up for Porro. As for our U-21's and who is going out on loan I'd like to think at least one of them would end up at Birmingham City, wherever they go however I hope they get guaranteed minutes, I do hope they'll keep Dane Scarlett around. As for Bentancur you got to think he turns his brain off when he get's back to Uruguay, first the comments about Sonny and now this I'm curious to know if the Uruguay FA are going to turn around and sue the stadium for not providing adequate security. I agree with Gray. He is young but has a year under his belt in the championship competing for promotion. He's bossed the Chelsea midfield, so I expect he is ready from day 1. Bergvall will take more time. Mikey Moore is a project player. Is he a Yamal or does he need time? I always think of Wenger who has said that blooding youg players too early can lead to injury risks eg Sess. However, thankfully the days of the destroyers is largely over but would not play Moore against a Matty Cash team for a few years.
Great to hear about all the academy guys, but I hardly ever hear anything about Santiago or Soonsup-Bell, they're both getting to the age now where they really should be ready for first team football, but they never get mentioned. What's going on?

While it's completely unacceptable for players to get involved with the crowd, the organisers must take a lot of the blame for allowing the players' families to be placed in such an area without adequate security. If you get the security right, then you don't put the players in a position where, very stupidly, they think they need to act.
I did mean to say. The Archie Gray right back scenario. Isn't that the most sensible thing they could possibly do? Getting him used to playing the right back role in our system means he saves Pedro's legs by playing his part in certain cup games and substitution minutes. Then let him play certain times in midfield, as a sub, etc, when Pedro is playing as the natural back. I will be slightly gobsmacked if we don't see Bergvalls minutes on the pitch, both wide and centrall, and the same goes for Archie Gray and even Mikey Moore. In terms of flexibility, it's Ange's preferred modus operandi it would seem to achieve this.
Makes sense to me get him used to both roles. He'll be in midfield a lot as an inverted right-back anyway. Then he can develop wherever is best, which seems likely to be midfield.
Any sight of Soonsup-Bell? I saw he wasn’t on the roster for the U-21’s and didn’t hear his name mentioned with the first team. I’m thinking that might mean an injury or impending transfer? Thanks Ali!
I wouldn't say Premier League is tougher physical than the Swedish league. The pace of it is where it differs and of course also the players. But Lukas will take the step much quicker than most believe. He took the step from youth to senior straight away, then from second to first league as well. He went from u16's NT straight to u23's as well and you couldn't see it. He's just that adaptabe. He's going to do just fine even if thrown into the deep end. He'll just start swimming straight away.
Hi Ali. Guess we will have an update soon following the Hearts friendly. Otherwise it is very quiet. We keep hearing of commercial deal after commercial deal. The hotel, cinema, houses. Ticket costs going up, concessions being reduced. Is there any reason Spurs need to be careful with their spending? You hear us linked with Jonathan David at £25m. We sold Kane for £86m. Is there any reason we can’t buy Lois Openda for £70m from Leipzig or Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting Lisbon for £50m say? Archie Gray wasn’t a bad start but we need cover at full back, a CB, not happy with Bissouma (shadow of his Brighton form) and a winger/striker is essential. Still plenty of time but just have to ask are Spurs short of money or do they want a cheap summer with plans to sell the club in a mega deal? Fans will be in uproar if money is not spent for sure. Sad to see Joe leave, seems he was another victim of all the chopping and changing of managers and styles, when he left on loan last season there was already the feeling that his ship had sailed at Spurs without really being given a chance. I agree Alasdair, Royal is a very good defensive full back, ideal in an Italian team wanting to make use of that. I saw him a couple of times last season and his tackling and pace were immense, and he's got a great attitude, just doesn't suit Ange's system. And I'm convinced that Troy will develop into a top striker, just look at where Toney, Watkins and Vardy were at 21/22 years old.
