Some gentle criticism would be it would have been nice if you spoke to someone supportive of Galloway. It came across as very one-sided as someone who doesn't know much about this.

Whilst I view Galloway as an opportunist and a grifter, nonetheless his support for Palestine is chiming with large segments of the electorate in Rochdale. IMO Starmer has made a MASSIVE mistake in not having called for a ceasefire months ago. Labour stand to lose not only in Rochdale but in many other constituencies where his stance is seen in very negative terms. I think it almost inevitable that Galloway will win this by-election, which OUGHT to make Starmer think again about his pro-Zionist stance.

I'm a communist. I disagree with Galloway on a lot, yet I'm working on his campaign canvassing and I want him to win. This idea that George hasn't focused on anything but Gaza is categorically untrue -- he's campaigned on all of the issues, had town hall meetings specifically on those issues, interviewed ad nauseam on those issues. The problem I have is I'm not a die-hard Galloway fan, he has done things to draw my ire like on green issues, immigration and trans rights (as the SWP has argued)-- but we have NOTHING on the left that we can rally behind anymore, and although I like most of your videos PoliticsJOE, I really hate how much you have people on, or yourselves, parroting neoliberal dogma about "divisiveness" (in other words, not someone who lies to all camps and pretends to please everyone). PoliticsJOE, Sweeney -- they are "divisive" -- some people like them, some people don't. Yet this repetition of "divisive divisive divisive" is just a parroting of the BBC neoliberal line. You don't make any probing questions to ask "By divisive, what do you mean?" or "How do you think George Galloway is feathering his nest?". He has sided with the wrong side to be feathering his nest -- Blair and his cronies are counting the bills to the tune of MILLIONS, and George is running in an election, but -- the noxious status quo isn't divisive, or worse, has non-existent popular support, is that not beyond divisive? A quick clarification. George Galloway was NOT expelled from Labour because of his opposition to the Iraq invasion. There were multiple MPs on the Labour back benches who opposed the Iraq invasion. 121 Labour MPs broke the party whip and opposed the vote on military action in Iraq in February 2003. These included the likes of former ministers Glenda Jackson (stepped down in 2015), Peter Kilfoyle (stepped down in 2010) and Mark Fisher (stepped down in 2010). Galloway was expelled on four out of five counts of bringing the party into disrepute that were brought against him. Two of the counts were in relation to running in opposition to Labour. Which is against their code of conduct. If you stand against Labour, or support an election campaign that is in opposition to Labour, you're pretty much disqualified as a member.

It’s very misleading and disingenuous to say that he is only campaigning for Palestine and has said nothing on issues within Rochdale. While palestine is certainly one of the main issues he is running his campaign on, you need only look at the speeches he has done in Rochdale on RU-vid to see that he has also brought up issues related to the Rochdale football club, and lack of a&e and maternity services.
