We are going through many things but with two houses. One house is 9 acres other house way smaller but the larger house is killing us with repairs and our finances have been hit hard. Work work work

Understandable. Down time is important but also what you had mentioned previously is even more important. It's a spiritual awakening to find the pressures we couples tend to place on each other without even knowing. Thank you for recognizing this could be happening to others as well. Bringing topics like this to the forefront is needed, especially in this day and time.

I think what y'all are experiencing is 100% normal. The everyday gotta go to work to pay the bills feeling of being overwhelmed. Work consumes a lot of time and the household tasks stack up. The first year after I retired, we knocked a lot of things off the household list that had been sitting there waiting on "when we have time." Wait until your kids get a little older and there's soccer, football, Little League, and Scouts. A lot of meals were fast food between dropping off one kid and picking up the other. The biggest shock to your system is going from three years in an RV together having the time to do things to normal life. That's a huge change.

Glad you are back ! ❤ You guys had been together for 3 years RVING ..together everyday .. 24 hours a day!! Huge adjustment for the whole family now with Kevin working away from home so many hours a day! Plus your life style now .. buying a house needing so much work .. girls going to school … big difference being on the road together everyday versus now ! Huge adjustment for all! But you will get it!!! 🙏❤️

I always appreciate your replies, but we are all busy. I drive a truck overnight and Anne works days, we see each other for about an hour in the morning and maybe 1/2 hour in the evening. Our weekends are ours and nobody ,unless our daughter, will interrupt that. That is our Harley, yard work,relax time. Good for you guys.

Don’t answer this comment!😊 A couple thoughts, first of all you are spot on with your relationship assessment. After my wife and I battled and beat cancer on of the cliche that stood out to us “ No one on their deathbed saying I wish I would have worked more.” Also cell phones can be a useful tool, but they also a curse. It amazes me when you go out to eat and the family is at the table all with their heads down thumbs a flying, it’s sad actually. God has truly blessed you and if you listen to his whispers he will show you what is Important. Love y’all and it’s ok if you skip videos from time to time.

You need to look-at the Rapid Radio service if you don’t know it is the new Nextel type radio that will go anywhere even when you don’t have cell service when he is out in the fields and you need to get untouched with him.

Great vedio. I'm old and raised my 5 kids and 5 of my grandkids. Life gets hectic. Plan a day. For only your family. A day trip, tea parties, board games, movie night, dress up day, make a gift day or craft day. No work of any kind and no electronics (well, movie night). Enjoy your children, they grow up so fast, don't miss it.

you do not need to reply to my comment - ever! i only hope that, if you read it, it has some value for you. STAIN: you absolutely MUST MUST MUST stain EXACTLY THE SAME MATERIAL that you intend to use in your project!!!!!!! that is the ONLY WAY to really KNOW what the stain will ultimately look like. different woods give very DIFFERENT colors with the SAME STAIN!!! suggestion: if you have already chosen your cabinet maker, and you have already chosen which wood you intend to use, ask the cabinet maker to give you some scraps of that wood. if worst comes to worst, offer to buy some samples of that wood. apply any stain that you are considering to that wood and PUT IT IN YOUR HOUSE. put some in the kitchen, put more where the table will be, where the entertainment center will be, etc. look at it during different times during the day AND night. i am an artist and i can assure you that the exact same paint/stain will LOOK DIFFERENT in natural light (direct and indirect), when being lit by light bulbs (even the bulb type can drastically change a color). even the colors of things AROUND a sample can affect the appearance of a color. example: if something has subtle blue undertones, it will appear more blue next to something with orange undertones; and the thing with orange undertones will appear more orange next to anything blue-ish (because orange and blue are complementary colors). so put samples around things that you already have and know that you will keep, and see how the colors interact with each other.
