Don’t overthink it. The day in the life after leaving the road is enough. I like that you are willing to show the highs and the lows. Some many RV channels have so much hype that they are unwatchable. Your content is just fine.
I think with the ordeal that you guys went through with "Buddy" getting hit by the bus, he deserves his own line of merch. " I survived the big yellow bus" would be cool, and also shows the true evolution of "Paving the new path".
I fell in love with Cody WY this past May when I was up there. Luckily, that area is way out of my price range, so I’m not tempted to move there. Btw, Buddy looked like he was looking for a place to take care of business at the beginning of the video. 🐶
Some exploration of Texas especially your area would be cool. The home remodeling is definitely a must. Regardless what you decide I definitely look forward to seeing your videos on both channels every Sunday morning. Soon as I get up Sunday and get on my phone first thing I do is look for your videos. Even before looking at Facebook or anything else. It’s always a great Sunday when I can start it with you guys.

One note from our experience on traveling with kids in school. Once the kids get in school, esp when you have multiple kids; they start making friends. And then they start sports, Scouts, clubs, etc. Add to that job commitments. It gets tougher to find a couple of weeks when everyone's schedule matches up to take a long trip. Especially it sounds like with your busy season doing mowing will be the same time they are out of school. We wound up taking a lot of long weekends or leaving after school on Friday and returning on Sunday instead of big trips. Even then they often had homework they had to bring with them.
The concept of a favorite place is like which is your favorite child, the creation He made is awsome, all of it in my humble opinion. I recently found a place on rumble to pass the time when bored called my lunch break. Thanks for the window into your lives and watch how things have changed since the rv, i like it.

I don't want to bring up the unpleasant frame flex but that was a sad situation for you and for so many and you shined a light on the situation. I hope you can find away to maybe, go back to RVing in a limited situation, loved that idea, and I hope our paths will cross. But with that said I still love both channels and I'm still following you guys. You are remarkable, resilient, faithful and most of all, your real.! Love ❤ you and your family and the adventures. Hello, I lived full time ( retired and by myself ) for 3 1/2 years. I am very happy that I had that experience in my life however wouldn't do again. Extremely expensive, upkeep of the RV and paying over in alot of the places that I was at was over a Thousand dollars a month ( and for that Thousand dollars you get a slab of concrete to park it on ) . Granted I love the ocean and that is where I migrated. Then I was living in Fort Myers Florida until Hurricane Ian came along and destroyed everything. Ian was supposed to make landfall up by the panhandle and decided to stop right at Fort Myers and make landfall.
I think you’re doing great just the way it is! Definitely looking forward to more home improvement content when you get there. Also, when you go on non-RV adventures hopefully you’ll take us along for some of it.
I hope you do get another RV your kids will love it. We are thinking about just traveling part-time instead of full-time. We won't retire until 2027 and are still figuring out what RV to get. We have started to downsize. Not telling you what to do but try and spend more family time you will miss it when your kids grow up. If and when you get to Kansas City Mo we would love to meet up with your family or we could meet in Branson for dinner or something. Keep up the great videos we look forward to each week's videos.
I see you're looking for ideas. Well, home renovation is a good one to start with. Finishing the kitchen and rebuilding the shop into a working shop seem to do well. Buidling the kid's furniture. Homesteading -- landscaping around the property, growing and preserving your own food. All those would make good topics. Of course, now that you're not an RV channel, you might have to look toward a different audience than you had as an RV channel.
lol, No matter what we do in life, full time RVing or owning our home and a company (in which we do as well) we are weekend campers or Glampers (RV camping), there are always big responsibilities, decisions to be made and planning; there is no getting away from that in life. That’s just part of having a successful life, stress comes with that, no matter what you plan out for yourself. Life is short, if you are itching to try something, I say if it’s safe, then try it, why not!

Think about the name “paving new paths”. Doing new things, home improvement projects you have no experience at, traveling new places, whatever could be considered “new” to you. That should be easy content to create.
My question is what would you suggest for someone that is 57 had to go on disability retirement. With a 5 th wheel ? How do you do it with having the price of what these parks and resorts charge . So I guess my biggest question is how do you make enough money to be able to stay at these places without the extra income to stay at these places ? I thought about the you tube part but I’m not really tech savvy to make the videos .
Unfortunately Utube is no guarantee.... You might want to look into thousand trails. Its not cheap upfront but if you use it it will pay for itself very quickly and it will lower your nightly costs significantly. They parks arent all fancy resorts but when your fill time you cant always stay in those without blowing a lot of money. Think of it as a place to go with full hookups and a way to save money fore the times you want a high $$ resort. We bought our TT membership used and it paid for itself in months vs what we would have spent out of pocket. We try to stay in one at least 3 weeks a month which allows us to park money aside for other expensive stays like the month we are spending in the keys this winter.
