@@MariahTheElusiveSongbird yup, what it is, is that bow wow was in his prime in his teenage years and his flame died down when early to mid 20s. most rappers prime is their 20s. that why it appears bad because his age but at the end of the day bow wow lasted longer than majority of rappers. people look at bow from his 20s and up not from his 10-15 years career prior

He is trying too hard to prove himself when he does not need too. It’s okay to not be a rapper anymore but he is always trying to do too much when he could have taken the high road and just pursue an acting or hosting career. That way people would respect him and not clown him. But it seems like he likes the bad press that he makes sure to get at any given situation

I think something shifted energetically about him perception wise, when he did that song with ciara. Nothing wrong with Ciara but him playing a love interest in the vid looked odd. Kinda symbolic for him not knowing how to fill his natural boots naturally but seeking something else (Something beyond) that ended up repulsing in some way. He should have had better management perception wise. He should have grown organically, matched with girls his age that complimented him energetically. Shown more authenticity etc he would have gone far if he grew that way. But he was forcing the public to perceive him a certain way and it killed his momentum eventually.

Most of his success came from JD and other songwriters like T.I. He had the right people in his corner to guide his career. However his ego won't let him be a CEO of BET. Until he checks that issue, it's just a fantasy. Him beating women, lying about things he doesn't need to lie about and acting like a gangster isn't his strong suit. He still has alot of growing up to do. Quake ain't touch on those topics. He's a legend in some eyes, yes. Not mine. God bless him anyway.

I agree with you about "Outta My System" I used to bump that track all through high school! And hey since your talking about rap child stars, why not do "Lil Romeo" aka "Romeo." From what I remember the two of them even had a beef going for a while.
