This might be a bit eurocentric , but for me Luka was the only prospect I've seen in my lifetime i would call generational. Simply because I've never seen a player that young contribute to winning on high level professional adult basketball that much . I don't think any other 17 to 18 year old player can be the best player on a team that wins the Euroleague and then carries Slovenia to a Eurobasket. He was very unusual in terms of been essentially fully formed , skills wise , at 17.

Black Man runs Basketball you must live under a rock in Bikini Bottom or something if you don't know that. Luka would've been a 10-14th pick had he went to college in the USA against actual competition. I do respect all the foreign players becoming more of a factor in the NBA though but I think we all know that's a new thing my guy. Guys from foreign countries were never heavily sought for because they usually always became bust against real competition in the USA 🤣🤣🤣

Oden wasn't a generational talent, he was a generational bust. Durant was the real deal in that draft but at the time execs were too obsessed with 7 footers thanks to Shaq. Oden had a very high ceiling defensively; but pretty average on offense. Not every 7 footer who looks like a mountain could become Shaq, people forget how skillful Shaq was for a big in his era. Durant on the other hand, he was something special. I actually did watch him in Texas a couple of times and he was just something else. A one of a kind talent.

What boosts LeBron even higher is that he's where he is now after playing his entire career with a whole legion of Jordan fans hating allllllllll the way through. Jordan got to come in and just play. They called him the greatest after winning just one ring. No one was holding him to anyone else's ring count, they just saw that he was the best. NOW with LeBron, people dont want to move off MJ when LeBron is clear as day the greater player of the 2. People want to hold LeBron to a ring count when they didn't do that with Jordan. People discredit every LeBron win and pile on every loss. Jordan objectively won in a sorrier era. The 90s was trash league-wise. The powehouses of the 80s died out and it was easy picking for the Bulls. Bird's Celtics? Gone. Showtime Lakers? Gone. Bad Boy Pistons? Gone. All spent their primes beating each other up throughout the 80s. After 1990, the league was the Bulls. No other team stood a chance for real. Jordan also never faced a team in the finals with more allstars on it than his own team. LeBron has been in situations where he's been up against 3-4 allstars as the only allstars on his team.

Once again, generational. Just because they were stars in Hs doesn’t mean people refereed to them as players who could be some of the best ever.

@@cddevri Being hyped as a player and being hyped to take over the NBA is completely different. I never heard nor read that about Wall. He got views yes, but like I said in the video, for all of those guys they had the eyes and the hype about them being generational as professionals.

@@Alvini_Linguine i mean wiggins got more youtube views pre-college/nba because it was a more youtube centric time but either way i never felt like he the public was as big on him as john wall 🤷‍♂ look up mock drafts from before the 2014 draft and you'll see a decent amount projecting embiid to go first. Wall couldnt have been a more obvious first pick, in a class that at the time was projected to be stronger too
