It makes me genuinely fearful for some of the guys still kicking around as well. Lot of similar stories of drug abuse and addiction. If only WWE was a billion dollar company and could perhaps offer some health benefits or something

@matt fahringer totally. Like DDP is a goddamn saint for all he does as a life coach or whatever. If it wasn't for him, someone like Jake Roberts would have died in the gutter. But it shouldn't be up to him. The WWE should fucking give their employees healthcare. I was counting them, myself. I counted 9, but sadly, there's more. Adam only mentioned the initial playable superstars. Had he included the unlockables, I'd have to also count Paul Bearer, Pat Patterson, & maybe more. I can't remember everyone that was on this awesome game that I spent most of my nights playing as a later-aged-teen.

For regular roster, you have Chris Benoit, Brian Christopher, Eddie Guerrero, Chyna, Test, Crash Holly, Viscera, Big Boss Man, British Bulldog. For unlockable players, you have Mae Young, Fabulous Moulah, André The Giant, Pat Patterson, and Howard Finkle.

Smackdown 2: Know Your Role had the highest replay value for it's time to me imo.

eh, it doesnt really have any game modes that would give it endless replay value, give how limited the championship modes are, and it doesnt have online so it's only really endlessly playable if you live with people to play against. smackdown 2's season mode has random cutscenes and literally never ends, giving it more replay value, even if the gameplay isnt as good as no mercy.

Has anyone else experienced Godfather being OP in the game? Whenever I play the royal rumble during the story mode for the IC and WWF title. it's like the CPU wants him to win really bad. He reverses everything and gets his special up in no time. Just comes in like a house on fire.

I simply solved that problem by making a CAW that kicked the shit out of The Godfather/The Goodfather, as well as everyone else. My 9', 700 lb. muscle bound behemoth made him fly through the ropes via a Spear like he was launched as debris from the Moore, OK tornado in 2013.

There were quite a few characters in the game left off this list. Vince, Shane, Linda, JR, King, Shamrock, Moolah, Mae Young, Shawn Michaels, The Fink, Michael Cole, Tazz, maybe some more.

honestly, I had a love hate relationship with the WWF N64 games. I'd spend weeks building up coins to buy things and then all of a sudden my file would just be wiped and I'd have to start all over again =[

What I did was made my own CAW in WWF: No Mercy and made them a gigantic beast that was super fast, had a wide variety of moves, and just let him beat the hell out of everyone in the game.

Ken Shamrock is on the independent scene as a heel, Tazz works for AEW now as a commentator and as the manager of his own wrestling faction, and Jerry Lawler is pretty much retired, and Jim Ross is also a commentator on AEW.

Never played it. Was more of a Playstation kid but I'll give it to you. The roster was lit and it still looks like it would be fun to play in 2021. If you missed the Attitude Era you missed everything. Glad I was there.
