What Happened to Geometry Dash Fan Challenges? 

Sorry if this videos seems like it isn't of my best quality. That's because it isn't. The last month has been nothing but finals and AP tests, all that shit that gets in the way of me youtubing. I would've loved to put this video out sooner than have but unfortunately I just could not do that this month. But hey! Summer is coming soon and I got a lot of stuff planned for this channel. I originally thought this video was actually a fan challenge video dude that intro is so convincing Also the lvl request stream part is so true, as someone whos also done it it ruined my chance of me doing ANYTHING else

Cool video! I've been considering making a "Vortrox Challenge" video just to see if that format of content is still viable, and I think it'd be a lot of fun to connect with my audience through challenges. Perhaps this is my sign to finally do it

I'm really 50/50 with level request streams tbh. When it's someone like evw or wulzy doing it, it's absolute chaos, people send IDs in chat when they're meant to go in a form even though the title will LITERALLY SAY IT, they expect their level to be instantly played, and will start to send their ID in chat because they're impatient, and overall it's just not that fun. (Also one time a chat mod in a level request stream timed me out because I said that people should be allowed to make unique levels, yikes.) Although smaller level request streams are a lot more chill and laid back, and because there aren't a million IDs being sent every millisecond, the streamer gets to interact with chat more, and get to take time to finish the level in either normal or practice mode, and you don't have to pick just one thing to send to maybe get played.

I was watching a RU-vid channel that usually played bigger, more well known games, and had a decent following. And then they play GD out of nowhere, so I went scrambling for my android device and ripped off Nine Circles, being very popular and easy to make, and even made it auto lmao, all for my 100 likes on a level icon lol It’s bittersweet, got it on a throwaway account and they never played it lol but fuck it life goes on

2.2 will def have a major effect on this genre, possibly revive it back somewhat i bet
